threatened with un-retirement? canon is Storm Hawks
No. No, are you listening to me?
Every time you get these ideas, I wind up somewhere horrible! Remember the time you killed me off with aliens? Or the City with weekly curses!
Why is it too much to want to stay in Atmos and fly my ship?!
[ Stork, your squad and your ship finished the series lost in the Far Side. ]
Don't split hairs! At least I still had the Condor!

underageleader is here ]Whoa, whoa, Stork! Your mun kind of has a point. For all we know, the Far Side could have been any of those things. Curses, aliens...
I guess the only difference is, we were all together. It's hard finding each other in places like this.
That said... Good to see you again, Stork.
Forgive my typos, I'm phone tagging!
[ Despite everything, he's relieved to see Aerrow. He really hadn't expected to see any of his squad here. ]
What about you? Have you seen any of the others?
no worries!
[ He looks a little dejected. ]
Have you? Sounds like you've been a lot more places than I have.
Re: no worries!
No one. I've been to three places before, and all of them were awful. Every time I think I've gotten off the hook, she rediscovers that I'm...
[ His voice takes on a melodramatic groan, and his ears droop. ]
... "fascinating".

...It can't be any worse than mine. I mean, she thinks I'm-
[ And now it's his turn to peer around like he's paranoid. He leans in and holds a hand up to the side of his face so that only Stork can hear him, not like anyone's listening. ]
Cute. Like... domestic leaper cute. Can you believe that? [ he is so annoyed ok. he is an INTIMIDATING SKY KNIGHT not a child!!! ]

You're right, that's worse. Did you know that there's a type of Yalurrian mind fever that makes people hallucinate that everything is cute? Imagine trying to cuddle a bog howler because you can't tell the difference.
[ Hopefully you weren't looking for reassurance, Aerrow. ]
dont tell her about the flying ships or she will be UNSTOPPABLE
[She glances around, a little conspirationally.]
I'm pretty sure there are places around here you can rustle up a vessel, if you know where to look.
[ She pauses for a second however, then raises an eyebrow at him.]
Though I'm not entirely sure what you mean by flying it?
lady captain after his own heart /TELLS EVERYTHING
[ mournfully: ] After the Condor was blown up, I couldn't sleep for days. Or eat.
[ But he does perk up a little bit at the thought of maybe something else to find. ]
Flying? I'm a carrier pilot. A type of airship.
[ Because really, how else are you supposed to get around Atmos... ]
oh no.. here we go
Ah, losing a ship is like losing a lover but twice as bad. Riding a new one never quite feels the same... The Siren's Call was a fine ship, for all the memories she had attached to her. She had to go down, unfortunately.
[ She pauses, eyes going wide. She gives an appreciative whistle at the very thought. Ships. That. Could. Fly. Now that was real freedom. ]
The only ships I've ever seen cruised across waves - I mean sure, you'd leap over a few every now and then, but to get truly airborn.... What kind of mages do you have operating those sorta things?
/straps in, prepares for takeoff
All kinds of ships run on crystal power, but you don't have to be a crystal mage to use it. Anyone with a basic understanding of helical matrices can get one tuned up for basic power.
You're talking about water ships. Now those are risky... too much chance of falling off the edge of a terra. Give me the open sky any day.

[ Maybe he's got mind fever or something, but that is actually reassuring. For different reasons. ]
...It's good to hear from you again, Stork. You know - circumstances aside. Maybe we'll find the others sometime. [ THERE'S ALWAYS HOPE Aerrow will not be deterred ]

[ Look at this hopeful face you're getting!! ]
And maybe if the two of us stick together, we'll be easier for everyone else to find us.

[ He so wants to yell THAT'S A GREAT IDEA but ]
...My mun isn't much for... taking me places. It's been a while since anyone got to go anywhere. But maybe. We'll see. A Sky Knight should be good at convincing others, right?
Either way, it sounds like the best plan we've got. [ He shoots a hopeful little smile right back because yes. good ]
I'd be totally up for museboxing them sometime if you're interested!
Sky Knights are good at all different kinds of things. Besides, these muns can have harder heads than even Junko would be able to knock through. They don't always make sense.
:^) that i can get behind!!
You can say that again. ...And you're right. Mundanes are stubborn, but that doesn't mean anything's off the table.
awesome!! I've never had any other SH muses to play off before
That, and I think I'm starting to get a feel for bargaining with mine. If she can promise me somewhere with a relatively low chance of horrific, painful demise... maybe I'll consider it a favour.
me neither! O: this is exciting waaa
[ It is what he does. All the time. Always.
You can sort of tell.]no subject
[ He's not looking for invite doom, after all. ]
Let's just hope if anyone else shows up, they're on our side and not Cyclonia's.
((OOC: He's got an open post in my musebox here, if the urge ever strikes :D))
