Christian! [She can't believe it... She... She hugs onto him tightly. She didn't think she would ever see him. The mask of a cool, calm, and collected courtesan is thrown aside for the sake of seeing Christian, her arms wrapping around him.]

[This is the Satine Christian knows and loves. He didn't think he'd ever get to see her again, either, especially after... well. He doesn't want to think about that. This place is strange, but he'll gladly take it if it means seeing her again.

His small smile slowly turns into a broader grin when he realizes she is, in fact, quite real. Wrapping his arms around her, he holds her close and buries his face in her red hair.]

It's you. It's really you.

Silly boy... [She whispered, running a finger down his cheek.]

Who else would it be? [She kisses him.]

A ghost, maybe. [But he's smiling, and only too happy to kiss her back, slow at first, savoring each moment... before more fervently and passionately. Christian kisses the corner of her lips, her cheek, grinning happily as he looks down at her.]

I've missed you. I feared I might never see you again.

I'm real... and I'm here. I'm here. Oh Christian... [She gasps softly and merely smiles as she's kissed and she kisses back, her fingers gently curling along his neck. He's always so sweet, so passionate. She tilted her head and quirked a brow.]

Aren't you the one who insist love can do anything?

Satine... [It's almost enough just to say her name again like a sigh or a prayer upon his lips. But he smiles slowly at her question, then even chuckles, still partially thinking this must be a dream.]

No... our love can do anything... like bringing us together again.

[She merely smiles and wipes a bit of lipstick off his mouth. Sometimes his enthusiasm is still a bit... surprising, his insistence that everything will be alright just because of love. She closes her eyes. She's as excited as him, but the idea of parting hurts more than she wants to say.]

Where have you been all this time?

[Christian might be naive, but he knows he's never felt real love before, not until he met Satine. If they were lucky to be two people so in love, shouldn't that mean everything else should be right in the world?

His smile softens, and he shrugs a shoulder at her question.]

I only just arrived here. I never thought... that is, I didn't know I would see you here. I think this place must be magical.

[Her smile becomes heavier, her eyes lower. She knows that her being alive is... maybe not magical, but certainly something. She doesn't really want to think about being dead, about the missing ache in her chest. Satine merely gave his hand a squeeze. Calm and cool as ever, she merely tilted her head.]

Well, here I am, and I suspect I'll be here for quite some time.
