((In here, I first set the mad elf loose...))
[There's a giggling as there a mixture of playfulness and mischief in her eyes.]
Finally. You took so long to bring me here, my dear Mun!
Catching up with the silent prince would be nice... I'd also like to have a bite of...someone... [Arioch smiles so sweetly.] Your friend seems really interesting too~!
[A friend on Mun's Skype is giving her ideas when that's really wrong towards anyone sane and knows right from wrong. Of course she'd like to get to know him more, for her sense of right and wrong is wrecked. Messed up.]
Will I see the others around here too? [Even Seere? Even though it's been a long while since she last saw the sweet, tasty looking boy, she's never forgotten what he looks like...]

Too many people around here are all sour faced about working with muns.
no subject
More people should have a Mun like mine. She understands how badly I've wanted to be let out.
There wasn't much to eat, being held in a prison and away from everyone else in that Head Nexus... [She pouts when mentioning this.]
How about yourself? [Wow, her ears are as pointy as hers... Does that mean-?!] How did you manage to escape from the Imperials? I was sure I was the only elf left!

[More people means more meals for her.]
[Arioch giggles as she'll be closing in on your personal space, sweetie. Underneath that friendly expression lurks danger.]
no subject
[she smells sweet and...musky. A mix of her three favorite things, candy, magic mushrooms and alcohol. Have you ever smelled a Smidgen before? They're like halflings but smaller and with less fur. Maybe somewhere between gnomes and halflins. Either way she's grinning brightly and produces a bag opening it up and producing a fistful of candy]
If you're hungry I'm happy to share!
no subject
It's dangerous to be stuck in one place, if you're all cooped up then there's no telling what might happen. Everyone might just disappear together and then they'll all be gone. All gone.
[She'll just be twirling around for a moment.]
no subject
[Arioch takes in her scent again.] No, your scent is different. Ooopsies, so you're not an elf. How strange! We have the same ears.
[Ears.... She'd like to nibble on one of them.]
A candy woman? Who is that...? [A friend of the girl's, who makes candy? ANOTHER person to have all to herself??]
[Arioch doesn't seem to be interested at all over the candy that the Not Elf presents to her. The alcohol smell is a reminder that she likes a little wine with whoever she chooses to cook, or munch on raw...]
Mmmn, I think only you will do nicely. [Yum, yum...] Where are you hiding the wine? Do you have any left?
no subject
I come from Palisade actually, never heard of Drakengard. But if they have tall dark and Uglies tryin' to hassle a wicked sister like you then they don't deserve you there.
Oh! And the candy lady isn't here anymore. She only appears when I'm high. Then I eat her.
[licks her lips and sighs happily]
no subject
Taking in your scent. It's a little different from a human's, isn't it? She watches you twirl. How wonderful, letting her have a look on where she'd like to chew off first. Maybe one of your shoulders, or somewhere off your torso...or your nose.]
Yes. Awful, isn't it? [Her gaze stays focused on you as she's standing practically in front of the blue haired girl.] A never ending bad dream...
no subject
Yes, a bad dream. It's all a bad dream that just won't go away, that's what Cent would say. Then he'd offer to hold me until it was all better.
no subject
Palisade. I don't believe I've ever been there! How many more pretty ones like you are there? [She giggles, anticipating to taste more of her kind once she gets a taste of you, sweetheart.]
[Oh wow, what?!] She comes back after you eat her? [She looks surprised. Amazed even.] How does that even work?
no subject
This Cent sounds like a darling. [Arioch is trying not to drool.]
no subject
[She'll even bite the cork and tug it out for you]
Smidgens? Oh there are plenty of us around town. We breed like bunnies! And there are lots of dwarves and elves and humans too! And this really cool Orc...
[She's easily distracted though because you may give off this hungry predator vibe but gosh you're pretty so she's blushing and grinning]
Oh Candy lady is a hullucination. In fact usually it's some other person I just think is candy woman. But she still tastes sweet, all minty and chocolaty and yum!
[she grabs another fistful of candy to ease her sugary addiction]
no subject
I've never heard of Smidgens. There's elves and dwarves, too? [That's interesting!] Your world must be different from mine... The Imperial jackals slaughtered all the elves I knew, and the dwarves before that.
[It's what Undine had said once. Or was it Salamander? Oh she can't quite remember which one of her two elemental pact partners said that as she laughs a bit giddily. Might be getting a bit tipsy.
Oh gods, will Arioch going to become become a crazy drunken elf that wants to eat the Smidgen?]no subject
[she takes out a leather wine skin flask and squirts some wine into her own mouth]
Ah ~ that's the stuff. Yeah our world is pretty great, but this whole between worlds thing is pretty fun too right? So many people to meet!
no subject
So many varieties of people... [Smiling, she leans forward, possibly invading your private space. She's trying to decide where to bite first. She's trying to decide between your arms, hands, or ears.]
no subject
Muah!
no subject
As she kisses her nose, Arioch strikes immediately after, wrapping her arms around the adorable girl (so she can't get away) and goes for those soft lips. They're the first to touch her. The lips the first thing she wants to taste.]
no subject
Yeaaaah, she LIKES Betty. XD TASTEH.
Sweet blood! Her tongue moves to lick and drink a little more blood before biting down on her cheek next.]
XD Betty likes bad girls and crazy people but clearly she's too sweet for her own good
Ohhhh, that explains a bunch! Dang, it's late. After posting this, I'd better get some sleep.
[Enjoying that high, oh yes! Like intaking an intoxicating drug for the first time... Nothing like she's ever had before. And Arioch wants MORE!
Killing then cooking her would just delay this indescribably wonderful experience for this cannibal, so she'll just eat her raw.
The noises coming from Arioch's tasty prey only add fuel to her predatory instincts as she's oblivious to the kicking. She doesn't even acknowledge the sharp jab into her chest as her yellowed teeth goes deep into her cheek. More of that delicious, exotic blood spills. The girl is short and about child-sized enough to lift her up, lean back, and let as much of her blood spill into her mouth and down her throat...]
Rest up! I'll be around ;)
no subject
But Arioch is an ally. So it isn't a complete waste of his time.]
......
[Not that he looks particularly overjoyed to see her. Or maybe he is and doesn't know how to look it. No one can ever say Caim was an effective communicator in any form of the form.]
no subject
Oh there you are! Mun-dear and the dragon were right all along.
What about everyone else? Leonard? Velderlet? ...Seere?
[That delicious boy has always been pleasing to her eyes. It's why she sounds the most hopeful about him.]
no subject
Yet all the same, he shakes his head at her. It's harder to have a translator without Angelus to do it for him, but what it is that they say about pact partners? They don't need voices to get their messages across?
If the gods are good, Verdelet lies in a pool of his own blood.
As for the others, he simply can't say.]
no subject
Now they're out of captivity! Isn't that great?]
Everyone else wasn't taken from Drakengard. Just the three of us, then.
[Mother will never forget Seere. Not fair. She'll never get to taste him! Yes, she looks a little sad about that.]
no subject
Caim lifts his shoulders in something like an absentminded shrug. As if he just can't conjure up enough sentiment to actually care. Let's blame that on predicaments back in Midgard, however.
So it would seem.]
no subject
I can tell~
[She noticed that in his eyes.
Arioch would care less if she were killed, to be honest--but knows better that it's nearly possible to kill the feisty red beast.]
no subject
Or wants to be. Transparency is vulnerability and men like Caim can't afford to be vulnerable.]
......
[He lifts his right hand and motions dismissively. Fact of the matter is Angelus is far less insane in comparison to Arioch. At least he and the dragon have an understanding. What he and Arioch have is a once-upon-a-time tasty prince encounter that Caim never wishes to relive.]
no subject
Arioch chuckles at his reaction. Oh you silly cannibal--stop teasing him!
But she couldn't resist but do so, Mun-dear. It's been a long time, being a world away from the prince... She's just happy to see him again.]
I'm sure she misses you too.
Oh, Mun-dear, where is she? Let's not make him wait!
no subject
In the way that she misses being held to stone by arrows, I imagine.
Which it to say that perhaps merely not at all. And if Arioch is somehow accurate, Caim has to admit that he wants to share no gratitude in her direction.]
no subject
This mad elf has guessed right. In some small sense of the word, she does miss him. Thought of him to have died, fallen to his death. Hard to be sure when being separated from pact partner to being someplace very different...]
Grumpy prince either doesn't want to believe it...
no subject
......
[He's not grumpy. He swears he isn't. He's the same Lord Caim, the same Prince of Nothingness, the same man agonising over things he couldn't have stopped if he'd tried to.
And yet she's not wholly wrong because he doesn't believe anything Arioch has to say. He trusts her about as far as he can launch her. Read: not at all. He trusts her to be mad and a liability, two things she definitely is.
His arms fold over his chest and he shakes his head at her.]
Really, she could use a bit of cheering up.
As she turns and faces ahead, there's Caim. The growling dies down.]
Yes, because Caim is the go-to guy for cheer.
A dragon in red, the only one he's ever known. A best friend, a partner, a soulmate. Angelus is many things to Caim, most of which he's tried not to label. Because he's never really had the time to. Yet seeing her makes him feel a little more...
How to say. Complete.
He dares to approach her, but doesn't dare to touch her. Yet, anyroad. Who knows how a person can change in such a world, or a hub to which all other worlds convene.]
She trusts and gets along with so few. So stubborn and grudging.
Still around I see...
[Uh. Actually...
You met with a duplicate of him earlier.Nevermind, Angie. Best not to mention it until you forget about Aisling and how uncomfortable the robed creature(s) are making you feel. (No wait. She has the memory of an elephant's! She won't forget.)]Like so many of her kin...
"And you."
Which pleases him more than he chooses to express. After a moment's consideration, he reaches up to pat her snout. Don't eat his arm. He needs that.]
Mhm. Head-canonly, I came up with a main reason why she's hated humanity so much.
[Much earlier, she wouldn't have missed hearing his voice in her mind. It was both strange and infuriating when he wasn't there.
She missed her chance to want to know something from him the first time. She won't miss it a second time.]
I must ask; how did you avoid falling to your death?
I still remember it all clearly. I couldn't take us higher to the sky fortress. I could not take us any higher. And then... I found myself elsewhere.
Another world. No Imperial jackals, not one of them in sight--and I could not sense your presence.
It wasn't until a day later, when I learned the she-elf was the only other there, from ours. [That crazy woman has always disgusted Angelus. Somehow, within the Nexus, Arioch has gained the devil's luck in this other world.]

[Don't mind a slight side eye as she clasps her hands behind her.]
But what about you, isn't there someone special for you too?
no subject
The red dragon doesn't like me very much, and she is the only one from Drakengard, the world I came from.
[She wants to try a nibble on one of the sweet girl's arms... Arioch's going to wait until she's close enough to the girl when she's completely off her guard.]
Sorry for delay! I had family over for the weekend and was playing host.
[...Is that what she remembers? He relives most of his adventures to the Sky Fortress and what they found there. Almost on a nightly basis. Regardless of the other things he's seen since then.
He shakes his head.
"Time is an odd mistress, dragon." He chooses to address her politely. As politely as he can muster, anyway. "I remember the fortress well enough and everything that came with it."
The how's and why's are beyond him. He's long since given up on trying to figure any of it out. He stands to gain nothing from it, he supposes.]
Hey, it's no problem! Did you have a nice time with your folks?
[Angelus shows him a very bewildered look before her golden yellow eyes lower, a soft grumbling growl in her throat.]
One of many odd things I have witnessed so far, at the island... [A lot of things over where she and Arioch had been at, for over a year, have made little to no sense. One good thing about it is that not all humans act selfish and greedy, as they have in that wretched world.
She looks back at Caim.]
What's important is this: you survived.
no subject
And you never know he might find you, it's a really strange place after all.
I did! Some of them are a handful, but a delightful handful, mostly.
[Caim nods somewhat absentmindedly. Even though he's aware of time's various effects, and on himself as well, he still can't say he puts understanding or faith into such concepts. But she does say one thing that resonates within him, for he's been saying it to himself for what feels like eons and ages—though it's been only some years.
"And so are you."
For the last dragon he saw was none other than the one with him currently, and yet she too had been claimed by time. And gone she went, and Caim had all but to assume she was...
Well. No more, he supposes. Despite his own status, which is tricky, at best, considering all that's happened.]
I'm back. Been busy lately. XD
There's only just one I know, who's been here with me at the Nexus place.
Mun is hopeful that the silent prince may end up there! [She chuckles.] The dragon and Caim can be together again.
Good, I'm glad for you. :)
My current project I just started is a remix of the Darius Twin boss theme. Darius Twin is a much older game on the SNES, one I used to play a lot. I've always liked the music from it.]]
[And so is she what? Alive? Of course she survived! She had to, out of hopes to find her way back to you, Caim. Yet, that hasn't been impossible. It didn't help that many of the humans she encountered there who did not know any other way out of Nexus aside from whenever it chose to send her back.
For Angelus, it has been a little over a year since she had first found herself in that sorry state of an island. As frustrated as she had been, at least she had grown to more than tolerate two humans who have understood where she came from.
But before she could say anything about the red-haired female and the fire bending boy, curiosity nags at her. If she doesn't ask now, the question would linger on her mind. There's been enough going on around her as it is, and one concern too many is something she doesn't need. She'll try to not let this confusing and all too enigmatic ways of time bother her in the process.]
Your sister... Did you ever get to her in time?
