Can't say I really blame you, especially considering the guy you have been playing has all the emotional depth of a puddle and about as much wit.

But let's be honest, here. You don't really have the resources or the time to do the canon-review needed to actually do anything with me. Better to just leave it to back-reading and nostalgia, don'tcha think?

Not many people seem to have that much interest in our franchise these days. [Heya, Lyle. Have Gundam Protag number 2] I kind of have mixed feelings about that, but considering what we deal in, who wouldn't?

This reminds me that Zeta is among the many Gundam franchises I need to check out.

You've got a point. I'm sure my little group would be thrilled with the bolstered security of no one knowing or caring who they are. But it does make interaction a mite difficult.

Granted, I always did like interacting with people outside my own canon. Your chances of coming across someone who isn't woefully socially inept or maladjusted via trauma tend to be better.

Such is the life of someone from a war story, isn't it? Everyone else seems totally normal in comparison. [Not getting into individual problems, of course.]

...Although the weirdest guy I ever ran across was an office worker. You'd think those would be bland as it gets but this guy was right off his nut. Enough to make you almost miss the PTSD crowd--guess there's an exceptional case in every bunch.

I think I can pretty well peg the exception in my group--side-effect of picking up a hapless civilian as an indefinite hitchhiker. Poor sod never signed on for any of this and was too devastatingly normal to figure a way out of his fugitive status.

Unless you mean the exceptional nutters. In which case, it's a race too close for me to decide the winner. [Bless G-Gundam.]

Well, when you consider that the norm for us is PTSD-riddled soldiers, your guy stands out quite a bit by virtue of being a normal civilian that didn't fall into the cockpit. [Like almost everyone else in this franchise]

I'm pretty sure we don't have a guy like that in our series. [Pretty much all of them were tied to the war heavily in some way.]

Well, now that you mention it... actually, he did fall into the cockpit once or twice. Not that he was necessarily suited for it, mind, so your point still stands.

Probably for the best that you never had to deal with the liability, all things considered.
