While I'm not normally one to question your logic, Fräulein, I'm afraid that in this particular instance, I must insist.
This business of "redemption" looks lovely on paper, as I think the saying goes, but I've always thought that sort of matter lies between man and God, not man and...well, mundane. I'm flattered you think I'm deserving of such a thing, but as you'll recall I didn't do so well on that ship before, lovely as it could be at times and noble as their intentions are.
