On mun's recent re-watching of his fight with Archer

I fail to see why you feel the need to despair. My fight with Archer was splendid! One of the greatest of my recollection!! I would gladly face him again, if I could. I hold no ill will towards Archer for our battle. Rather, I am grateful to him - many would rather preserve friendship than provide a decent fight when one is called for.

[I'm not sure Archer would describe your relationship as 'friends', Rider...]

IT MATTERS NOT!

To me, Archer is a friend and ally, and always will be. True enough, I was sad to say goodbye to Waver Velvet. If it were within my power, I should like to see him again; I should like to serve by his side again. He made a most excellent, if not puny, Master. I treasured the boy - he was as close to a son as I shall ever have. That is why I kept him so close - my father pushed me away in my youth, though he taught me a great deal of skills, I could never love him as my father. I wished to be such a figure to young Waver - if the gods are merciful, I hope I was at least a little successful at that.

[...PLEASE STOP RIDER, MY FEELS...]

YOU MUST NEVER SHUT OUT YOUR EMOTIONS!! Did you not hear what I said at the meeting between myself and Saber and Archer?

The king must feel the most emotion, any emotion; and express it the loudest and with the most gusto. Even if that emotion is complete and utter despair.

Though again I say: Do not feel despair for me. I will linger in the Spirit World until such time as I am summoned again. Though I doubt that I shall ever have a Master I treasure so dearly as Waver Velvet.

Simply remember: In all that you do, do it with a conqueror's spirit! Give everything your all, even the most mundane of tasks. Laugh the loudest, rage the hardest, love the deepest and with the most gusto.

Do this, and the great Iskandar, the King of Conquerors, shall never die.
