And don't say "I'll put you in a meme, Tessanne," because putting me in a closet at a party is no way to address the fact that everyone in my life now exists in a foreign country. God, now I kind of understand why Michael was upset with you.

I came here not to be alone and now I'm alone. This sucks.

[Though after a second he scratches his nose in a slightly embarrassed way for saying all that. Partially because even he realises it's a bit sappy even for him and also he is paraphrasing his father, who was very much not a wise man, didn't say it at all like that and was kind of excusing that fact he was absent most of the time.
