On the new proliferation of Groots
Look, I get that you want me to go talk to some of them, at least one of them, because talking to trees is kind of what I do, but c'mon, I'm from a totally different branch of the multiverse, who's to say I'll even understand the dialect?
I mean, sure, I could learn but that takes time, and I know you, you aren't going to want to put that much effort into it, since I know you aren't going to put me in a game with one to give it that kind of shot.
So just stop.

It's nice to meet you Mr. Colossus. Groot. Hi, I'm Alexis, Lex, and this is Bob.

Speaking tree's not hard, you just have to know how to listen. Same as any other language.
[Bob makes a game-show wrong-answer buzz and she shoots him a glare.]
Fine. It's in my genes. Some people can play piano, I can commune with plants.

[She doesn't usually talk about it this much, but he's a tree, she trusts trees more than she trusts people.]
Mine's spliced in, though, like cutting a new branch into an old tree to make a hybridized fruit.
