While I must admit this is... awkward to say the least, I can't bring myself to begrudge any of it. That is the nature of the Outrealms, isn't it? In our world, Miriel and I were the most compatible. In other worlds where Miriel and I are different people, regardless of how minute those differences may be, she would be more compatible with someone else.

...Really, now that I think about it, I can't help but feel more honored that she would choose me in our world. Gods know I don't deserve a woman as amazing as her.
