They shouldn't have brought me back.
If it was for the good of the Council, or the Alliance, I could get it, but the way I see it, I'm being held captive by terrorists. Terrorists who killed forty-nine people I was responsible for and want another round with me as a lab rat. And like that's not enough, they don't want me for my skills. They want me for whatever public opinion I can give them. I got brought back to be a knight piece in a big damn game of chess.
Don't even like investigating these disappearances. If it was up to me, I'd have packed up and left for the Citadel hours ago. Whatever's happening, there's no reason I can't investigate it on my own, with my own crew. I'm not obligated to work with murderers. If they want a return on their million-credit investment, some kind of endorsement for their group from Commander Shepard, tough. Sounds like they should have given me the neurochip after all.
