[At least it's not the old Harvelle one-two this time?] I've missed you Sam. And of course he is. Look who's taking care of him.

[Two Deans, huh? Well... that's familiar. His lips twitch upwards, though there's no humor in his eyes.]

So, uh. Are you seeing double, or does it take two of him... to keep Sam safe?

[He lets her, looping long arms around her shoulders and bending over as best he can. He grins at the top of her head.]

[She's dealt with Horsemen, trapped Death and all, and tumbled around with the witchy side of things and the odd really freaky creatures. Might be silly to draw the line at angels, but you gotta draw it somewhere, right?

[Well. Don't you look different?] You know the boys as well as I do, Cas. Takes a whole army to keep them safe most of the time.

[You don't even know half of it, Ellen. At least the lessons in drinking shots were appreciated.]

[Oh she's missed this. The warm smell of his duster, the faint scent of various herbs and everything that just made up.. Harry. The comment however, gets him a gentle shot to the ribs and a wry grin.] Damn well better be more than just pie you were missing.

[He laughs, a warm and very happy sound.] No I think I missed everything. [A big hand rises to muss with her hair.]

Afraid not. Angels, demons, just as real as anything else.

Problem is, you're never sure who's really on your side.
