So now you're suddenly interested once more, hm? Yet again we play this never-ending game of cat and mouse... How long will it take for you to get bogged down and overwhelmed by that pitiful excuse for a life this time?

I ran into Lord Hades. He was mysterious as always.

[It irritates him that Hades gets such a reaction, yet Ganymede was always praising HIM before his kidnapping. It could be considered jealousy but there's no way Apollo will ever attempt to speak it and know if it's the truth.]

I don't hate him. He's just a pain to deal with, so I avoid him whenever possible.

[Artemis was the only other god he could talk to. Hades ruined that, too.]

Unlike you, I don't have the luxury of choosing who to talk to.

[Since he's in Zeus's garden and only Gods can go there, he'll take what ever other conversation partner he can get.]

The pickings are slim anyway. You're not missing much.

[And even though he won't say it, Apollo is lonely. After the incident with Iris and now his avoidance of Artemis his conversation partners have diminished.]

It'd be nice to see what's going on in the human world every now and then.

[But that would probably give Ganymede the illusion that Apollo actually would listen to him.]

You got a glimpse of things from that gift I brought you before, didn't you? [Even though Ganymede adamantly ignored/brushed off the "gift" that was Heinz.]

But even if you saw for yourself do you really think it's something that you could accept? Compared to the way you've come to perceive time here the mortal world changes in the blink of an eye, so nothing would be even vaguely familiar to you.

The warm sun, green grass and white moon would make it worth it.

You have the representation of the sun, isn't that enough? But I could add a moon to the sky if you'd like- it would suit the atmosphere nicely.

Zeus wouldn't care. He hardly paid enough attention when I brought you here in the first place, so he wouldn't care if I made an addition or two. If it seemed to get a reaction out of you he'd likely find it for the better, even.
