That would likely be because most constructs utilized in military applications need to be as simplistic as possible, or provide minimal intervention unless otherwise directed. Having too many voices on the field of battle has proven to be a detriment to the warfighter. I, on the other hand, was created for much broader tasks, performing duties of various beings would take much longer to perform, regardless of being synthetic or otherwise.

The answer to both of your queries would be in the affirmative. While we are currently at war, I was based off of a previous civilian-based security system. As the world began to shift more to electronic warfare, electronic defense capabilities also needed to be pushed forward. While there are other AMIC systems performing those duties, mine are focused on assisting more tangible assets.
