Sunday morning brainstorm

You're watching a Law & Order marathon and now you want to send me back to New York? First of all, I think they've got more than enough good cops over there. They don't need my help. And even if they did, I haven't seen anyone from any of those shows around, anyway. Not even that random British version. So sending me home isn't going to change anything except give me a different backdrop.

Besides. I'm not going anywhere without Clay. He might be a stick in the mud sometimes, but he's an amazing cop and a stand-up guy. If you really want to team me up with somebody, find somebody to play my partner, and then that'd be progress. I can bust bad guys anywhere - what you need to focus on is finding me the right people to do it with.

I have to say I approve of the attitude, Miss!

I was focusing more on the busting bad guys anywhere part, honestly, but that's a good trait to have too.

In that case, keep up the good work, Officer. When I was a young man, woman officers were very new things- I'm always glad to see progress... er... progressing!
