canon is Howl's Moving Castle (novel)

I appreciate you letting me out after all this time, cariad. I've been in your head for some time, haven't I? I do hope this isn't some whim of yours. You are prone to those aren't you, my dear? Not that I can speak, of course.

At least tell me we're going to do something interesting. I do hate being bored.

Be careful when asking muns to do something interesting. They go a little too far sometimes.

Diana Wynne Jones!! Sweet.

Oh, whims. Like your mun ends up with the worst of them.

I have to say, most of them have their head in the clouds.
wingedpower: (Lend a hand)

No, not enough. :D

[You're a magician. How is a talking macaw strange?]

Can it be called a theme if it's common to all of them?
wingedpower: (Don't look down!)

[He's seen a parrot before, yes?]

At this point, it's more of a common trait than a theme. A requirement even.
stumbling: (well not really but... well they are)

They are prone to whim, these muns. It's something I've noticed myself, and I've been convinced it's not exclusive to mine... or indeed yours.
wingedpower: (...make corrections)

[They talk. Just not so well.

Okay, so she's more than just a parrot.]

My journal was made on a whim. As were several others of hers. She may as well have been born a magpie, the way shiny things turn her eye.
stumbling: (all these icons are awkward really)

I-I'm sorry...

When you say 'lock you up'. You don't mean that literally... do you?

Lucky you. Mine leaps at the chance to do awful things to me.

If you don't like hearing about people dying, you'll regret asking.

There was death by statues that weren't statues but aliens. And then there was death by gorgon.

An invasion of sand and heat and monsters of quite a large variety. It was significantly not fun.

I'm Charlie.
stumbling: (still awkward)

Easier said than done... I'm not sure I would put... well, anything past them. But locking up does seem a little extreme. I'm not sure mine would, but perhaps... perhaps yours is different. My mun seems to think I'm more like to wander off than be in need of locking up. I think there's some hope for that result on both our parts.

[WHOA NAMES!] I'll just stick with Howell Jenkins. I like that one. Not that the others are bad. They're pretty awesome, actually.
