My journal was made on a whim. As were several others of hers. She may as well have been born a magpie, the way shiny things turn her eye.

An invasion of sand and heat and monsters of quite a large variety. It was significantly not fun.

Easier said than done... I'm not sure I would put... well, anything past them. But locking up does seem a little extreme. I'm not sure mine would, but perhaps... perhaps yours is different. My mun seems to think I'm more like to wander off than be in need of locking up. I think there's some hope for that result on both our parts.
