And what would you have me say, Writer? My time in those tales are long done. Oropher was Doriathian - I knew him by word of mouth alone, and Thranduil even less. Aye, his halls did recall Nargothrond, but they were both based on Menegroth, no? I cannot blame Thranduil for taking that stance. Whatever else mistakes Oropher might have made, he taught his son the dangers of associating with the Noldor, and in that he was right, was he not? Enjoy it for what it is. It is not my tale, and my time in that world is but a rumor now.
