Just openly admit that you were rewatching those scenes as often as you did because your intention was to torture me. The amount of icons you had was fully sufficient. What need is there to produce twice as much as you can use?

But let us come to more pressing matters:

No. I do not enjoy spending time with Jane. I am merely helping her. For my own reasons. There is no such thing as a friendship between us.

Further, I do not have any need for anything resembling a pet. If anything, then Zell sure does fulfill that role splendidly. The angels not so much. And Vriska... [He just lets out a small groan there.] No.

Next: I will not attempt to invade the city with... Penguins. I do not quite understand where that idea even sprouted forth from, but just forget about it. Soon enough I will be in possession of the Aether so do me the favor and focus on that rather than dwelling on flightless birds.

Penguins? Weird. Pets are only useful when they're, well. Useful. Otherwise they are rather a waste of effort.

The Dr. Foster from your universe, on the other hand, seems, um. Intriguing.

Well, here is a young man capable of reason. But let me assure you, younger self of mine, this mundane does not quite share that trait, unfortunately. There is this exhausting inclination towards the weirdest ideas.

[One may note that very brief frown when his younger self mentions Jane, though. Really. He himself isn't too aware of how he has gotten to just call her by just her first name...]

Ah... ell. She is pretty... Helpful. Especially since she has no memories of what happened after Thor's exile on Midgard. People are the most useful when they still trust you.

[And this is as close as admitting that he actually enjoys said trust as he might get.]

Unless, of course, this would serve a greater plan. I do believe that they might serve as a decent enough distraction.

Oh, I have not thought that far. Just be creative. If the entire city is occupied with the havoc created by an army of waddling birds plenty of things become possible.

I do not think, however, that they could serve as distraction for the Animus.

[Well this sounds quite possibly dangerous. You'll have to excuse Thor for not knowing what the heck a penguin even is; he's more imagining a giant army of glowing-aqua-eyed chocobos or ostriches (as mounts), than a giant army of... tiny flapping tuxedo birds.]

You are invading a city with flightless birds? And what are "Those scenes"? Are you well, brother? [Thor looks concerned. Generally, talk of takeovers and retrieval of the Aether is a veeeery bad sign, coming from Loki. But this Loki does not appear to be cackling or currently waxing glowy-eyed-megalomaniac. No, this little-bro looks... stressed.]

No, Thor. I said I am not going to invade the city with an army of penguins. This is but one of this mundane's weird ideas because apparently some mortals have a lot of free time at their hands to come up with senseless ideas such as this.

[He raises a single hand in a surrendering way.]

And I am doing splendidly, thank you.

[Protip: It's a lie.]

But, please. Do not tell me your mundane left you at home when they went to visit the most recent screening of your glorious adventures.

[Stressed smile becomes bitter smile. You don't want him to actually answer. His last conversation with Frigga? Frigga's death? Her funeral thathewasnotallowedtoattendandstillfeelsmurderousabout? Radiating off some severe distress signals here? Mayyybe....]

[Thor's expression is complicated, here. A lot had happened. He has only barely begun to work things out with his own Loki. The Loki opposite him now seemed... even less happy than his own has been, currently. Clearly his little brother needs Thor to try to fix all his troubles.]

My glorious adventures? You were there, too, brother. And what of our tales, needs to be screened?

[No, this mun would not let the Thor in her headspace see such travesties done to poor Loki, for he would be a wibbly Thor indeed. Particularly for that extended deleted screaming scene. All the wibbly Thor. Plus, after having seen the movie, Thor would probably question what the hel is up with Odin...]

[See that frown. Seeeee it. He's frowning at your expression. At that concerned look. Will Thor ever learn? Probably not. But generally that's for the better for Loki. Who shall now loosen said frown so he can properly pull up his eyebrows at his brother.]

[Now part of him wants to reach out and just pat Thor's shoulder - Once. Another part wants to just sigh. He settles with just shaking his head a little and crossing his arms or he might end up giving him that pat.]

[Because, no. If Thor isn't aware of what he's missed then Loki shall prefer his brother not having witnessed those moments.]

Yet I would like to have some idea. [Thor reaches out one hand to cup the back of Loki's head, as he'd always done to express affection.]

They seem of importance to you. [That concerned look? Is still there. Just getting more confused and hurt, in the silence as Loki is not willing to pour his heart out to his big bro.]

[Ah, that damned familiar gesture. So traitorously soothing despite how much he tries to despise his brother. Just how much longer will family be his weak spot?

For a moment he just looks at Thor, lips pressed tightly together, forming a thin line as he contemplates and recalls the words their mother had left him with at this very place some time ago. Just how much of her is he truly able to find in his brother...

He decides to respond. And settle for something that does not directly involve him.]

[And he leaves the rest open, but closely watches the reaction this might gain him.]

[Pain and loss lance Thor at those words, it's obvious in his eyes. To be expected, even, after how much Frigga meant to all of them. Yet there's also guilt there. A guilt which still stabs Thor as much as the loss itself. After that initial reaction, though, the concern is back. Stressful icons mean stressful Lokis.] And she wanted pictures to... What plans doth she make, for you?

[That pain, so obvious. Obvious as his own to himself. And yet Loki manages to gather himself enough to take a step away, out of that hold, getting some distance between them.]

The mundane is not on the fairer side, brother. What plans he has? Mostly just tedious little ideas to stirs up to mock me. The only serious plan so far... Involves the Aether. And Jane. You may not like it.

[Thor presses his lips together, now just as concerned for Jane, as for his brother. Carefully, he answers in a serious-sounding rumble:] You will not allow it near her again. What plans have you in mind? Did she agree to them?

Cease the warning. If you do not want it near her again, then you might want to thank me, for I shall be removing it from her body and seal it away. For the time being, that is. I do not plan to make use of it least I learned to control it.

[Besides, he's currently making friends there. Strange as that might sound. And there needs time to be granted for those friendships to develope so that they can get crushed along with any trust he may have earned himself by that time.
