So it's like totally cool you made this journal for me and all, but do my birth parents really have to be the lamest super heroes ever? Snow Man and Glo Girl, really? Couldn't they be more like Tony Stark or Bruce Wayne or something? And I'm not just saying that cause they're rich and could totally pay for my university education to make up for the sixteen years of me being in foster care. I'm sure my parents were really nice, and maybe had a good reason for giving me up - but excuse me if I don't rush out to avenge their death or something totally dramatic.

Also why do I not get a super power? Is it something you grow into because I don't want to be the super hero version of a Squib.

And what is with my name?! Tuesday is not a name, it's a day of the week. I know you're still [ air quotes ] working on [ /air quotes ] me or whatever, but get it together, okay?!

Dude, you can like totally offend my parents all you want. I've never met them, and they're kinda dead so unless someone pulls some serious DC/Marvel reincarnation juju... which is seriously lame.

Doesn't mean I'd get their powers right? I could get something else. Something that isn't turning into a snow man or being able to glow in the dark.

...just, like, a regular snowman? I've seen people with silly powers that they could use pretty effectively, but I'm kinda having trouble seeing how those'd be useful.

Like regular snow man, you know like that Michael Keaton movie Jack Frost? I think he could like make snowballs out of nothing and huck them really fast but dude all the bad guy needs is like a sunlamp and he's toast. Literally.

At least you had actual superhero parents. My mom was normal and my dad is just a really smart guy that plays secretary to the actual heroes. Okay, maybe that's a bit mean, but we are stuck in his silly watchtower.

If it makes you feel any better I never actually met them. They got exploded by some Big Bad and then their super friends though I was in danger... so they whisked me away and spilled the beans.

Mom had a normal boring death when I was little. I mean, it wasn't really boring and I wish she was alive, but nothing like getting exploded.

And Hendrix is mandatory, yep. And I guess it is pretty cool, although it would be a lot better if I wasn't dead, you know.

Oh, you know, bad guys decided to cross moral lines, invaded my dad's Watchtower of Nerdom/control base while I was there and shot the teenage girl.

Good thing my dad is as intelligent as everyone things he is though; he transferred my consciousness into a computer, and from there, basically everywhere.
