No.

I have Equalists to deal with, Harmonic Convergence is a year away, I am half the Avatar I need to be, the city and by effect the world is a hair's breadth from chaos. I did not endure what I did and come this far in my life to be used by you. There is a world dependent on me. That is not my ego speaking; that is my position as the Avatar. To go to a game at this point is nothing more than one more distraction I do not need at this point.

And do not even think of sending me where I don't have my bending. That is something I'd expect from Equalist Korra, not from someone who claims to be on my side.

Is there a reason they enjoy toying with us, or is it just sadism?

It is a hassle, but it's better than some of the alternatives. We aren't entirely without power or influence and the premise isn't related to us becoming the playthings of omnipotent and untouchable enemies.

There is a chance that this dimensional hopping for their amusement has different rules about time.

For example, I may be away in a game for months at a time; and when my mundane grows weary of the game and returns me to my world, barely any time has passed, my absence has not been noticed. The time in the game world, and time in our worlds, may function differently . [Stopping at that, not sure if any more will simply complicate the explanation of the theory more.]

...you made no mistakes that anyone else in your situation wouldn't have. Unalaq sounds like a master manipulator, and you were dealing more pressure than anyone since Wan had ever encountered.

However, I am not sure of my own solution to this. I can bloodbend, but if word gets out the Avatar did that, even to stop a civil war or Harmonic Convergence, it would be the end of any trust people could have in me. It's why I haven't used bloodbending on the leader of the Equalists in my world.

I'm the Avatar. Without me, the balance of my world breaks. The last time we were without an Avatar, a genocide and an attempt at a second were the result.

I'm surviving being manipulated in Republic City well enough. But I will take your warnings to heart, Avatar Korra. He does not sound like a man to be crossed.

Since I was young, my father trained my brother and I in it. It was when I parted from him and found my way to a firebender family I realized I was a firebender.

Illegal or not, it may be my only option. I will go to prison or be sentenced to death in order to save the world.

I don't know. The Equalists are ready to tear the city apart, but assuming that crisis can be dealt with, there's still Unalaq. You said he and Vaatu could pose a threat to the entire world. To stop the world from plunging into darkness, I fear I might not have a choice.

You forget, Avatar Korra: I have no access to the Avatar State. I do not even possess all the elements as you do.

Vaatu does more of a threat but you don't have to worry since it's a year away. I was able to airbend when you threated to take Mako's bending. [She shrugs] I don't know if that's any help.

So I need to have my world's Korra corner a loved one? That is not only underhanded, it's rather impossible. I don't have a 'Team Avatar' as you do.

The least I could do is learn earthbending. Two elements is not working. And being twice your age is not doing anything for my confidence. At least I've met Avatar Aang here. Perhaps he can assist with airbending.

So far he's asked if I was upset with him. I informed him that I am, but that I don't hate him. In my world I'm steadfastly ignoring him. We don't need our family drama coming to light in the current political climate.

I have Tenzin, yes. Lin tolerates me but is under the impression I'm hiding something. It's an awkward situation.

Years in firebending and chiblocking. None in earthbending. My plan was to only present myself to Tenzin after my brother was out of office.

If I reveal Tarrlok, I risk revealing myself. If I don't, things continue to get complicated. I'm beginning to realize that some problems have no solution.

How did you learn earthbending? You're the Avatar, too. Surely you have advice.

I would, if she and I were on better terms. I'm not used to dealing with her yet. Every time I talk to her I fumble for the right words to say. And then she looks at me with those impossibly green eyes and I forget what I was talking about.

It means nothing to her. She will force me where she wants, and my only hope is I can retain what skills I have. Wherever I go, I am still the Avatar. The Avatar must keep peace and balance on any world, by virtue of what I was born as.

It's not a crush. A crush, by definition, has a chance of happening. This does not. This is a fool's stupidity, brought on by a lack of concentration on my Avatar duties. It is pitiful.
