Dad--! [She cuts herself off, though, because he might not be happy to see her. He was the one who left after all. So her voice drops a little.] You came back, father...

[Weiss flinches at that voice. He had never heard it quite so audibly before, but it was just as he imagined it in his dreams. The daughter of the woman he never met, the daughter he would never have. A wish put to canvas in an attempt to free him of his own demons. ...And a further reminder of the pain his works had caused others.]

Mary... yes, I came back.

[Still, in his mind - as fractured as it was - she was still his precious daughter. After a moment, he goes down on one knee, arms extended to her.]
