Ahhh, I see. So this is what you humans call "roleplay." How fascinating. Although my reading had led me to believe it was an activity more sexual in nature.

Though to be honest, I can't say I understand the appeal.

Oh, trust me, people are all over the "sexual" role-play. You've just gotta look in the right places, Milla.

You sure Ivar's a reliable source for anything?
trustexercises: (008)

[personal profile] trustexercises 2013-09-05 06:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Not that he's wrong. But I wouldn't bank on him for anything.

Is there any point in denying it?

[Which isn't necessarily the answer he'd given Jude on the matter, but it comes out the same way. People assume what they'll assume about him.]

[personal profile] trustexercises 2013-09-06 12:19 am (UTC)(link)
That's one that I don't know either.

But what's the point in denying anything? Surprised everyone didn't start calling me Little Shady Buddy by the end of it instead of Big Fat Liar.

[He tells himself he'd have preferred that, anyway.]

Would it be said with less contempt?

[personal profile] trustexercises 2013-09-06 05:55 am (UTC)(link)
Eeesh. Too bad no one can really foretell the future. Or variances on the past.

Maybe now, but back then? I think that'd have given us a world of grief. Better to have even our deities a little less than omniscient.
trustexercises: (whoa. okay. i'll learn them.)

[personal profile] trustexercises 2013-09-07 03:48 am (UTC)(link)
Don't know about that. People didn't seem like they wanted to listen. I think omniscience wouldn't have helped.

[Plus, he figures one world with civilization makes it much easier to do the spirit lord thing instead of two.]

I'd say it worked out. But I'd have taken it sooner.

Not that I had too much of a role in that. I was just a kid.

[personal profile] trustexercises 2013-09-07 05:09 am (UTC)(link)
But I'd rather keep you around, too, Milla. If I had my choice of spirit lords and all. It's not that complex.

You sure you want to heighten my sense of importance, Milla? I'm already bad enough.

[personal profile] trustexercises 2013-09-07 05:39 am (UTC)(link)
And ... uh, you know. Great strides and all that.

[Being honest is still ... hard. Why is it hard.]
trustexercises: (095)

[personal profile] trustexercises 2013-09-07 06:24 am (UTC)(link)
Yep, that confirms it. That's my name from now on.

What, are we meeting all over again?
trustexercises: (what? why am I always to blame?)

You don't think you're cutting me too much of a break?

... I think I'll stick with what I've currently got going.

[ A voice in the distant cries out ]

MUTTON! FRESH MUTTON!

Someone's gotta give him some new lines!
trustexercises: (008)

[personal profile] trustexercises 2013-09-07 05:17 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, but think of it this way: if he was shouting roooootten mutton he'd be able to drag it out longer. That'd catch someone's eye. Or ear.
trustexercises: (oh. n sync. who even likes them still?)

[personal profile] trustexercises 2013-09-07 05:41 am (UTC)(link)
Could go with something like tasty mutton, but I'm not sure I'd stop for that.

[Ah, well.]

Maybe we should stay out of this guy's marketing plan. He might be on to something after all.
muttonman: (Default)

I love you guys for this.

[personal profile] muttonman 2013-09-07 06:54 pm (UTC)(link)
MUTTON! FRESH MUTTON!

[ The voice shouts after them, almost approving of this suggestion. Or maybe that might be your imagination, driven mad by the incessant advertisement of sheep meat. ]
