Possibly, probably gonna app her to Ruby City.
Mun? I know you can hear me. Stop watching that ridiculous American television show and listen. Why are you even watching it if it scares you so much? You’re almost worse than America.
Anyway, I just… well, I just hope you know what you’re doing. You’re not exactly experienced at playing me. Arthur, yes, but despite some similarities, I’m not Arthur, am I? At least you seem positive about the whole thing. And Amelia coming with us might benefit. Maybe.
[Alice frowns, thoughtful.]
I know you’re excited, but it’s a busy time of year, remember. You’re not even sure you’ll have access to the internet over Christmas, and you have several tags to be getting on with. Plus you have a job now, and you’re constantly procrastinating—
…Mun. Are you even listening to me? Miss Constantly Distracted. I’ll just talk to myself, shall I?

[ What she means is... Rude! ]
At least I don't believe in silly things like fairies and imps! I'll let you go there with just a talking pony, if you don't watch it!
no subject
[She smiles slightly, but there's no spite in it. America's unease about horror films and such is something Alice finds a little adorable.]
And there's nothing silly about the fairies that live in my house. How can you admit to there being things like talking ponies, and not believe in fairies? Honestly.
no subject
Because they do exist and there is tons of proof everywhere about them. Google it, okay? I know you're old, but seriously! Even you know how to work a computer. The talking pony is my mun's and her name is Fluttershy!
no subject
[She folds her arms across her chest, giving America a look that tells her she thinks her former colony is being very closed minded about all this. She blatantly decides to ignore Amelia's comment about her age.]
I... do look forward to meeting Fluttershy, though...
[A talking pony sounds cute, and she is pretty intrigued.]
no subject
[ She really had thought this out, see. ]
She's a pegasus pony too, by the way.
no subject
[She huffs, giving the American an annoyed look, but at the mention of the pony her face brightens some.[
A pegusus pony?
[Her intrigue just rocketed.]
Well... she does sound quite adorable.
no subject
[ Amelia flounders weakly with exasperation, frowning tightly. ]
Yeah, well, I hope she and her unicorn friend are adorable enough to keep you from going out of your mind with boredome when I don't go with you because of what a dope you're being!
no subject
[She frowns at Amelia, huffing.]
Oh-! Well, with them I wouldn't be bored, I'd be fine. I've been without you plenty before, haven't I?
[She shuts her mouth and folds her arms, trying not to pout at the other nation and failing.]
no subject
Suit yourself! If you want a repeat of those centuries, I totally have no problem there!
no subject
Well- All fine by me. Your company might have been nice, okay, but if you'd rather overreact and go sulking off by yourself while we're off to... to wherever this place is! Alright, then!
>_>;
>w<
[Alice almost doesn't hear the pony, but after a moment she turns, still disgruntled, away from Amelia. Glancing down at her, Alice can't help the smile that creeps over her face.]
O-Oh! Hello, there!
no subject
[ Please excuse her; it takes her a bit to gain traction. ]
lol I don't have an icon where she's smiling, LET'S JUST PRETEND
[Alice is still smiling pretty blatantly at the pony, paying no mind to how quiet and unsure she seems. So cute!]
LOL Oh dear. Sure, sure!
[ This clearly makes so little sense to the pegasus that it shocks her right out of her shyness for the moment. ]
no subject
Oh- W-Well, it's nothing to worry about. She'll come around. As I say, America's just being silly.
[She sighs.]
That girl, honestly. She just likes to overreact.
no subject
no subject
Well. I suppose, but...
[She shakes her suddenly, expression turning impassive but for a small tight frown, waving a dismissive hand.]
But I didn't do anything wrong. She should be the one to apologise.
no subject
no subject
[Alice huffs, sure to get that across. She wasn't expecting such insistence from the pony, honestly. Or such... high morals. Nonetheless, adorable flying pony or not, Alice is extremely stubborn and there isn't any way she's about to apologise to her former colony.]
It's— Look, this happens sometimes between me and Amelia. She's childish and ridiculous and prone to overreacting, and I...
[Alice shakes her head.]
The point is that it doesn't matter. She'll come around. She's not the kind to avoid the trouble she'll find at that game we're off to.
no subject
Oh... 'sorry.
[ She is the shy pony, after all. ]
no subject
Th-That's quite all right. There's no need to be sorry. I- Ah, I know you only meant well, dear.
no subject
...Really? I mean... You're not mad at me? Please don't be mad at me!
no subject
[And she's back to smiling and quietly buhyoo'ing at the adorable pony. She bends down so they're at the same height.]
What's your name? I've never see a pegasus pony like you before.
no subject
F-F... Fluttershy. I'm from Ponyville.
no subject
Well, it's nice to meet you, Fluttershy. I'm England.
no subject
no subject
[She sighs.]
It's my life she's making decisions on here, after all. You'd think she'd pay me a little more attention.
no subject
[ He pats her shoulder a little awkwardly. There, there, Alice. ]
Stiff upper lip though. You'll be brilliant.
no subject
Oh, well, of course. I don't doubt that. Assuming she puts the effort into the application, I only hope there's nothing too dreadful in this game she's putting me and Amelia into.
no subject
no subject
[She sighs, frowning tightly.]
Still, keep calm. Carry on, and such.
no subject
Naturally. But, ah... Amelia... Do watch her. If she's anything like Alfred...
[ He'd rather not think about the kinds of trouble she can get into if Alice doesn't keep a firm handle on her. ]
N-Not that I doubt you're abilities, of course!
no subject
[A frown as Alice finds herself becoming a little more worried about all the uncertainty than she cares to admit to. She shakes it off quickly, looking back up at the Englishman.]
That's assuming she stops her fruitless overreaction and decides to come at all, of course.
[She rolls her eyes.]
no subject
[ Arthur flaps a hand dismissively. ]
They always overreact to any little thing that wounds their overly self-inflated ego. It's in her nature not to be practical or sensible. Quite unlike us or how we raised them to be, of course.
[ Uh-huh. ]
I expect she'll come around sooner rather than later.
no subject
[She sighs.]
You're right, she'll get over herself. Won't be able to resist the trouble of that place, no doubt.
no subject
[ Arthur actually sounds more resigned to this than spiteful about it. In a sense, he's not really as resentful of the fact as he makes himself out to be. ]
