The muse came at me like a freight train.

...disappointed. I am disappointed. A cornucopia of referential choices before you, and you pick something I wore on a shirt. This does not bode well for the future of our relationship.

Personally, I would have gone with 'deductivefruitening.'

Still, here I am. You've got me, for however long that's going to last. I've noticed you don't have a particularly good track record hanging on to new 'muses,' on top of which you're already wrangling this -- slightly taller, broodier version of myself. Think you can handle the two of us at once with any sort of regularity? And what am I meant to do in the meantime, while you slowly and quite possibly painfully work your way toward the answer to that question?

...talk to myself?

deductivefruitening sounds like something from that show... Invader Zit, or Invader Sim or whatever it was.

Takes less explaining, though.

Your suggestion sounds a bit silly. Unless that's why you enjoy it so much.

Do talk to this "slightly taller, broodier version" of yourself, Mr. Holmes. I'm certain the mundane would be interested to know how that particular fight will end.

I'd doubt you'd work well together. You'd both be too busy trying to be impressive.

In our line of work, it is often that the two become interchangeable. As for the storm, I always find it welcome. Lest Watson withdraw her metaphorical spade in search for more depth in our person.

Try being stuck in the same unimaginative mind for just over two years - then we'll talk.
