[I wonder for a moment about this 'mun' person. The entire situation I find myself in is new and bizarre. Honestly, I feel more than a little bit out of my element. It would be fairly easy to forget about the whole mess and act like everything was normal, but it might also be good to speak my mind.]

I wouldn't mind if you didn't send me anywhere at all. Things staying simple like this is fine, really. With how crazy some of those places are and my... Well. I just don't think I'd be a good fit for most of them is all. Also we're not really that alike, you know. No offense but that's not really a compliment.

[There's a short pause while I consider if I want to add anything else.]

But that's just my thoughts. I guess I can't really stop you either way, heh.

They might be crazy, but they look like they could be fun if you have a dear friend or two beside you.

Crazy is one thing, but some of them are dangerous too. In that case, having to put a friend through the same thing would be even worse, wouldn't it?

It could be, but it'd better to go through something scary with someone you care about than being all alone.

Then again, it might depend on the person you're with, too, and how much you could help each other through it.

I still think I'd rather face something bad alone than drag someone I care about down with me, but you have a point.

I probably would, too, if I'm honest. As nice as having someone with you is, it would be safer for them to stay back home.

I think that's part of the fun of it. There's a lot of nice people you can meet here that you wouldn't back home and sometimes you can even run into a familiar face.

[The girl you see might remind you of Hanako. Same dark hair, pattern of extensive burn scars (though hers have taken an eye too and fused the fingers of that hand together) and shy demeanor. When she talks it's much harsher than it should be for a young girl, due to vocal cord damage.]

[She wants to ask 'your what?' but that would be wrong somehow, she thinks.]

[Thankfully Hisao is used to this sort of thing by now and doesn't really flinch. Too much.]

[Hisao has to stifle a small chuckle himself.]

Yeah. She can be a bit reckless, but Emi is a nice girl.

My mun sent me to a game on a space station, and a lot of what people do there is help everyone who doesn't want to be part of a big space empire. Therru is at the same game if you've met her.

One of the people there built a robot crow. It's kind of freaky, honestly.

[Hisao trails off, then just sort of shrugs with a sheepish pout.]

*Et tu, Hisao? Signing something else, with a more irritated expression on her face. She knows Hisao can sign... or at least, her version can.*

[This is Lilly!Hisao, so...

He just shrugs again, looking a bit upset and apologetic.]

*It's not her fault Lilly has the best route! But suddenly, her expression changes, and Shizune just looks... very sad.

She takes out a pen and a pad of paper.*
