But take heed. Your excitement may be ill advised; you have only seen me interact with those who know me, but not strangers.

Other then be part of a certain cast? Many things. I am known for being a judge in my world, as well as a curator for a television show.

But am also well known for rewarding murderers with death, in another persona.

I'm not familiar with television shows. However, could it not be said that judges sentence murderers to death? Why maintain another persona to accomplish this?

Allow me to clarify. I may be a judge, but there is no capital punishment in our city. As well, being a judge is a means to an end; I am able to access information for all those who are, without doubt, guilty.

Thus the persona. I have no plans to be imprisoned for what not only is the right thing, but saves people time, waste, and money to imprison cowards.

There is no capital punishment where I come from, either. Criminals are deported to a location from which they can no longer harm anyone. It has been so for some years.

Why not simply send them away?

Sending a man or a woman away does not free them from their urges.

No, but isolating them from everyone else prevents them from acting on those urges.

But it is far cry from a perfect solution.

There is no such thing as a perfect solution.

That is why death would be the closest to a perfect solution.

Both approaches accomplish the same result. How, then, is death 'better'?

Because you can be sure they will not find a way to escape. The dead stay dead.

If anything, death is a freeing influence. It is far easier for a spirit to harm others with impunity than a human being.

There is no such thing in my world. And if there were, we would have fail safes in order to trap or banish them altogether.

I suppose only those from your own world can stop you, then. But if I should ever meet you as a ghost, I'm afraid I would have to exorcise you. Please don't take it personally.
