I am grateful to be awake again. I was beginning to think you'd forgotten about me. Not that I begrudge the good doctor his moment in the sun. But we both know what happens when I get bored....and we also know how much you like it when I do. So be a good mundane and find me something interesting to do would you?

[While Thor laughs heartily at this, there is a tightness around his eyes that shows that he's had a difficult time, of late. His smile, too, is crooked. As though even when laughing, he is still a little pained.]

Threatening your mun will not offer you benefit. Yet I am glad to find you here.

[Time with any version of his brother, was time well spent. Thor had met so many Lokis, already. He wanted to show each of them love, and protect them all, as one giant family.]

[Loki eyes this Thor. He too has met many versions of his older brother and he has learned that not every one of them would greet him in the same way.]

I would be lying if I did not say I was glad to see you as well brother.

[hamm3rtime]

[Such truth from this version, as well. Was this the Midgardian Loki? Or the one from New Asgard? Or perhaps a third Loki, who admitted his care? Such Lokis were few, and especially precious to Thor. After regaining his worst memories, a few days hence, Thor was particularly glad to find a Loki who cared for him.]

And we cannot have that, [Thor responded, grinning.]

[Loki manages a careful smile and nod. He feels a spark of hope that he has found a Thor who will not judge or deny him friendship. ]

No we cannot. You need my silver tongue for good or ill do you not?

[Thor's smile faltered, at the question.] I do, indeed.

[frostedprince]

Brother.....I have met many different versions of you and I have asked them all a question. May I ask it of you?

[hamm3rtime]

[Curious as to what this question might be, Thor nodded his assent. With a tone both jovial and affectionate, he responded,] Ask. You need not be so formal.

[frostedprince]

[Loki chuckles and nods.]

Would you forgive me my crimes if given the chance?

[hamm3rtime]

[Of all the questions which Thor had thought to hear, that was most definitely not one he'd considered. He did a slight double-take, in surprise.]

[A loaded question, that. And not one which Thor wanted to answer immediately, as though he did not understand its full meaning. Yet his heart already knew his answer, complicated though it was. After only a few seconds, Thor nodded.]



Forgiveness is not forgetting. Nor the same as trust. [And that hurt to admit, but there it was. Thor wouldn't lie about it. Especially not when Loki had asked him so kindly.]

Yet always have I loved you as my brother, and always will I do so. No deed will break that bond.

[Loki nodded. He would have expected nothing else from any version of Thor and if he was being honest he would have said the same thing.]

No it would not...for all my faults and misdeeds I care about you too my brother.

[hamm3rtime]

[Reaching forward, Thor tried to hug his little brother.]

It must be difficult, for you to ask such a question so oft. Where are you staying?

Asgard...things are complicated as my mun would say.

ack, RL hit hard. Still here, I promise. ^_^

You must tell me, [Thor insisted with a friendliness more gentle than his usual.]

'Complicated' does not speak enough, when it is my brother we speak of.
