Homeless, but thinking about looking for a new game
Are you sure about this?
I mean, yes, you usually forge ahead when a new character just pops in your head, but I'm not really like the others. I mean, I'm not a psychopath or a huggable hero or a waterbender, I'm just ME. I'm likely a Donatello, or at best, a Gadget. Steven's the hero.
What type of game WOULD you even put me in? I'm homeless now, but you wouldn't have me here unless you were really, honestly into playing me as a character. I'm not so sure there are too many games that take on regular people who don't have some sort of tragic past, or even some sort of weapon. I'd look pretty ridiculous with my tennis racket against someone with some kind of magic sword.
Come to think of it, I could really use Steven's magical sword. And Steven. And Lion.
You are really making me nervous!

Just a little! No one likes being homeless, or thrown into the unknown!

And what do you do if what you meet ISN'T people, but something else? See, this is where having powers sometimes comes in handy.
no subject
Worse comes to worse you can always throw stuff at people who scare you.

Its more dangerous when you're not a crystal gem, you know.

[Thank goodness its Garnet of all the gems. Pearl was ok too, but Garnet was obviously they're leader].
What game are you guys in?
no subject
[Uhh.]
We haven't found Steven, though.
no subject
Oh, he's not? Huh. That's...well. He might end up there eventually, right? And we'll be there to see him!
What's the Wake like?
no subject
Many, many, many robots.
And bending. Not of water. [Beat.] Unless you want to bend water.

[She remembered the last encounter she had with a robot. She'd been with Steven, and they had that sword then. How would she defend herself from robots NOW?!]
Wait, bending water?! Like, what Lapis did?
[Another pretty intense memory. Saving Steven from falling to his death...oh, and also almost drowning.]

Except think of the water as the universe itself, and everything in it. In this game, you can shape the surface of reality with your own ordinary human will.

[Ahem.]
Connie, these games are really dangerous. You need to be careful, anywhere you go. If anything happened to you...
[Steven would be so upset...]

Pearl, its me. I'm not likely to go anywhere or even do anything without, you know, consulting a manual...I might even stay inside for a long time.
This makes no sense, but I wanted to tag Connie
[That may not be helpful, Kazul.]
Anyway. Don't humans have to learn to do that sort of thing? When I met my favorite human she was very good at cooking, but she was still working on swords and magic and such. You're very small, still.
