Homeless, but thinking about looking for a new game

I mean, yes, you usually forge ahead when a new character just pops in your head, but I'm not really like the others. I mean, I'm not a psychopath or a huggable hero or a waterbender, I'm just ME. I'm likely a Donatello, or at best, a Gadget. Steven's the hero.

What type of game WOULD you even put me in? I'm homeless now, but you wouldn't have me here unless you were really, honestly into playing me as a character. I'm not so sure there are too many games that take on regular people who don't have some sort of tragic past, or even some sort of weapon. I'd look pretty ridiculous with my tennis racket against someone with some kind of magic sword.

Come to think of it, I could really use Steven's magical sword. And Steven. And Lion.

Of course there will be people. But I don't...you can't always trust everyone you meet, can you? You won't know if they're good or bad from the start.

And what do you do if what you meet ISN'T people, but something else? See, this is where having powers sometimes comes in handy.

It's called "The Wake". It is another world in another universe, where even a regular person can become as great as a waterbender or a huggable hero or a psychopath.

We haven't found Steven, though.

I was...kidding about the psychopath one (well, no, I wasn't but I wish I was). So. The "wake." Sounds like one of those destiny places Steven might end up with Lion one day!

Oh, he's not? Huh. That's...well. He might end up there eventually, right? And we'll be there to see him!

[She remembered the last encounter she had with a robot. She'd been with Steven, and they had that sword then. How would she defend herself from robots NOW?!]

Wait, bending water?! Like, what Lapis did?

[Another pretty intense memory. Saving Steven from falling to his death...oh, and also almost drowning.]

Except think of the water as the universe itself, and everything in it. In this game, you can shape the surface of reality with your own ordinary human will.

Magic swords are overrated. Do you know how many I have in my horde? Heroes who carry them get very dependent, forget their... squishy nature.

Anyway. Don't humans have to learn to do that sort of thing? When I met my favorite human she was very good at cooking, but she was still working on swords and magic and such. You're very small, still.

Not just the sword, the person who had it. Him I'd want more than anything. The sword might help though.

No scales, horns, or talons, short legs, not even wings to get away. It always seemed like an impractical design to me. But I suppose you don't mind it.

Well, yes, but manticores have... Well, not horns. Nightshades, though, and wyverns, quite a few of the smaller monsters...
