Well, I certainly didn't expect that to happen. I'm not exactly thrilled that my happiness came at the expense of Knave's freedom.  It doesn't seem right and I will find a way to fix this.

I know what you mean, Alice. I desired freedom but this was why I never wished for it. The price was more then anyone should pay.

We'll find a way to fix this, right? We can find someone else to take Knave's place, can't we?

I'd take it back, if we could not. At least I know the expectation and tribulations of the life. It would be easier to find a benevolent master to let us be together.

[But this was the harsh reality. She couldn't live a happy and secure life with Cyrus while he was a genie and she couldn't live with herself while Knave was trapped as one. In short, she couldn't have her cake and eat it too]

You'd have to find his bottle and make the wish. I probably can't make any wishes since I've just had my three fulfilled.

I do not want to take it back either. I would rather spend a mortal life with you. Please, above all else know that to be the absolute truth

[He takes her hands in his and holds them close, even bringing them up to kiss her knuckles]

But neither of us would be able to live with ourselves knowing his fate. If we can not find another, I will take back my burden from him. We made a life once, we can do it again.

We'd have to escape as soon as you're a genie again. We have to go to another world, some place Jafar won't be able to follow us to so easily.

[She had told him once that she meant to live her life with him, despite all the risks involved with being with him and she meant it]

The Enchanted Forest would be a start. From there we can find more worlds to try. Perhaps one of the ones without magic so it would make no difference if I was a genie again or not.

I'm sorry Alice. But we will find a home, I swear it.

Jafar wants to force his father to love him. The Red Queen wanted to force Knave to love him again. I guess in some small way, we're lucky we have each other.

I memorized many of them in high school and write them out myself

Love is both more powerful and more fleeting then any magic. It's why bottling true love is just about impossible and why so many search for it more then magic.

We are truly lucky.

I don't know about all that, but I do know that love should never be forced. That's not love, just selfishness.

Forcing love is also a violation of free will, the most important thing mortals have. It is the worst thing someone can do, to force love.

Love is precious. People forget that. What we have...I still can't believe it sometimes.
