(no subject)

It's sure been a while, hey? Oh, about nearly two years at my guess. Nooot that I'm counting or anything, a guy gets bored after sitting around for so long.

Yeah, yeah. I know. You needed a break and all. But you gotta admit you missed me, even if you've been paying that grumpy orange-haired Sora lookalike more attention than me these past few months. I'll forgive you this time.

Just get a move on, will ya? I know you've been working on that app.

My mun just got over a break herself. Came back to find the game she used to play in officially closed. Not that it matters much for me, as she didn't play me there anyway. Kinda bad for the guys she had there before I guess.

[Donald Paperinik shrugs.] What can you do about it though?

Some city made out of ink or something. It's been around half a year since she left, can't say I'm surprised that it closed. A lot can happen in much less time. Entire worlds can change overnight, and she's upset about a game.

Couldn't have been too special if she didn't even play me there.

[He chuckles, but then extends a hand.]

Name's Paperinik.

mun's working on a roxas app too whoa look at that coincidence

Your Mun's apping you to a game, Axel?
doublebladed: (Excuse me?)

[personal profile] doublebladed 2013-11-13 06:53 am (UTC)(link)
...one year, nine months and 27 days. I think. Something like that. [Unfortunately he was totally counting.]

So. Where are we going this time?
doublebladed: (Spacecase)

[personal profile] doublebladed 2013-11-13 07:12 am (UTC)(link)
Did not. [So did. He kinda looks a little embarrassed to be caught though.] I just remember it's been a while, okay?
doublebladed: (Dear diary my teen angst has a bodycount)

[personal profile] doublebladed 2013-11-14 08:47 am (UTC)(link)
[A shrug. He's hopeful, but he's also uncertain about it.] You know I would if I could. It's not up to me though.

In the lifespan of the universe, the period of time that constitutes two years is really nothing at all. So the fact that you consider it "long" is in fact a reminder of your own slowly- or quickly-approaching death.

You may consider it slow, but that would be taking comfort in your own ignorance. In the universe's perspective, or the case of a sudden unforeseen accident, it wouldn't really be considered slow at all.
haveiliedtoyou: (I'm sorry. Did you want something?)

[personal profile] haveiliedtoyou 2013-11-13 08:18 am (UTC)(link)
Is that so? Because aside from that little detour we both took I've been shut down for more years than you could possibly imagine. So hearing you complain about two years... well. Let's just say you might want to consider yourself lucky to have an expected lifespan of around 80 years. Or maybe not.
haveiliedtoyou: (Oh. It's you again.)

[personal profile] haveiliedtoyou 2013-11-13 08:42 am (UTC)(link)
I may be old but I will still far outlast you. And just to let you know. If you stepped on my lawn? There wouldn't be anything left of you to apologize with.
haveiliedtoyou: (I'm sorry. Did you want something?)

And you look rather energetic for someone who is, practically speaking, knocking on death's door. Then again, that's how most test subjects looked just before they all died, so I suppose it's not much of a surprise.
haveiliedtoyou: (Did you think that that would work?)

[personal profile] haveiliedtoyou 2013-11-14 09:42 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't think you're giving me enough credit. After all, humans are essential in order for me to do my job. If I didn't have them, what would I do all day? Test robots?

... Actually that doesn't sound like a bad idea. And it would mean I don't have to put up with any more humans. Ugh.
