And like I said, I didn't think up the name, I joined Taiki-kun and the others long after that name was established. I used to be apart of an army called Twilight until I switched sides.

Being a Tamer isn't really about taming things. The name isn't that self-explanatory. And besides, since I didn't choose to become one but was chosen instead, that should mean I'm the right age to do it, shouldn't it?

Oh, you know. That idol-like appearance. That grade-schooler hair. That toothpaste-commercial smile. That "refreshing like a spring breeze" aura. It's kind of irritating to look at, actually.

Yuu was taken from me when I first came to the Digital World... I had to work for Darkknightmon since he promised he would return him if I did whatever he told me to....

I didn't think Digimon Tamers existed either- we're trying to take back the Digital World from Bagramon and promote Shoutmon to king instead.

Not yet... still trying. He has this idea that this is all a game though, that we won't actually die if we're attacked in the Digital World.

A Tamer? Well, it's not like there's a dictionary definition that I can just explain. It's... complicated, I guess.

It means that you have a partner Digimon, basically. And you fight together, and grow stronger together...

... No, there's more to it than that, I think. I'm just not sure what it is yet.

[xrosing]

My partner has always been Sparrowmon... but us generals can have new Digimon join our army so now I have Sparrowmon, the Monitamon, and Mervamon.

And yes, I'm positive there is more there than what you know now. Bonds formed and everything, correct?

Right... that's weird, though. I've never heard of a person who has more than one partner. Are you just using them for battle?

[xrosing]

Of course not, they're my friends as well you know. We do something called Digi-Xros where we're able to fuse two Digimon together.

[holding up her Xros Loader.]

[ she studies it with a furrowed brow ] What is that? Is that what you use to fuse Digimon together?

[xrosing]

It's my Xros Loader. Don't you have something like this too? I figured if you have a Digimon you must.

[onlytools]

I have this. [ she holds up her Digivice ] Yours is weirdly-shaped, though. I've never seen anything like it. I haven't heard of fusing Digimon together, either.

[xrosing]

It must have to do with the general and tamer thing.

Nene Amano. [it just occurred to her they hadn't even said their names???] I guess I should introduce myself.

[ she blinks. oh, right... ] Ruki Makino. [ she's still more interested in Nene's Xros Loader, though ] But, you know, it's strange there's this whole aspect to Digimon that I don't know about. Everything else up until now has been familiar, at least.

[xrosing]

[she shrugs.] Everything had been new to me the moment I entered the Digital World.... I had no clue Digimon even existed until that moment I was sucked in by Darkknightmon.

[ staring ] Seriously?

Have you been living under a rock? There's no way it's possible to go through the last couple of years without hearing about Digimon even once.
