You didn't know about Apollo and Orion? I thought for sure you'd known! It's pretty obvious that Apollo "has got it bad" for Artemis. In most stories about the two of them, Apollo's always hated whoever has taken an interest in Lady of the Pointy Spears. His issue is as big as Artemis's issue with men, and yet, she makes her "little hunts" out to be something like a sexual experience. Have you seen her hunt boars? That is not normal, even for a temperamental, androphobe like Artemis.

Anyways, my point is: why is any of this surprising? For crying out loud! They smite people for even forgetting their names. Thank goodness for the fall of their empires, or else you'd be required to sacrifice fifty goats a year for the worth of the entire pantheon.
