So you have found a place for me. How...lovely.
Has it occurred to you, Miss Mundane, that what you are planning to do to me is near as bad as the crimes that brought me to prison in the first place? As the wrongs enacted upon the people of France that I am meant to be killed for, and that caused the revolution in the first place?
You govern harshly with little regard for those who stand below you, who are under your control and cannot escape it, you laugh to yourself at the idea of bringing me to this "Vegas", and you treat my life as though it were a game for you to play with?
Had I any thought you had a scrap of pity or understanding, I would beg you consider what happens when those without power are forced to seize it. Considering the crime I'm to be executed for is of that nature, we can safely say I understand it all too well. Being an aristocrat, and being a mundane certainly have a lot of things in common, do they not?
You are insane, and I will not have my family suffer at your hands the way that the people of France have suffered at the hands of men like me.
