Though I do not speak for all writers, they rarely mean taking one as a muse as an insult. They must have some sort of fondness for you, to welcome you into their mind.

And unfortunately, it seems like the more you fight the more stubborn some of them get. Not that it's always the worst situation to be dropped into sometimes, but still.

Perhaps, but I will not allow myself to be made sport of. It is an insult and this "mundane" knows this well.

Mundanes have a way about them. They seem to be able to do whatever they please with us, whether we like it or not. I certainly wasn't able to fight my own fate against mine.

Either way, my suggestion is to... try and make the best out of whatever situation your mun may put you in, even if it is difficult.
