[ Then Maria reveals herself to be Black Doom and eats Shadow's nose off of his snout.

Nope, kidding. This really is Maria! Not only that, but this Maria seems well. Alive. Healthy. Well, she still isn't perfectly healthy, as evident by her pale figure and her weight being quite a bit less than it should be, but she still looks better than she did on the ARK! It's progress, right?

She looks so pleased, beaming and rushing for Shadow so she can kneel in front of him. ]

There you are! [ She laughs pleasantly, more overjoyed than she's ever been in her life. ] See, Shadow? We made it. We're here! This is Earth... This is really it!

[ Upon touching her, Shadow is going to feel nothing but realness. Her hair is frizzy and a little oily from her illness, not as well-kept as it could be, but that'll become nicer overtime. Her skin is so white, perhaps even a bit clammy as her body adjusts to the air of Earth, her immune system still at a weak low.

She's perfectly imperfect as he should remember her. Her excitement, however, knows no bounds this time, reaching far enough to accommodate three Space Colony ARKs instead of just one. She smiles at the hand there and grabs for it, yanking him close and cuddling him.

She's, uh... trying to be gentle, but it's a little tough with the surprising energy coursing through her being. ]

Oh, Shadow! I can't wait! We have to go see the flowers and have a picnic and watch the clouds and... ooh, we can find shapes in the clouds, too!

[ She nuzzles into his fur and inhales softly, her heart going aflutter at her best friend's scent of something so earthy and natural, not artificial. He's so cute, goodness. ]

[Goosebumps. Yep. That's what his first reaction to this realness...

And then... he's literally dragged into a little cuddle.

And he can't help but smile after the surprise. She's the most delicate being he's ever met, and yet, the strongest, in a way. His fingers curl around the fabric of her clothes. Maybe a little too tight. This warmness... This smell... All hers.

[ She frowns. She remembers a certain incident in which he tried to make the Ultimate Lifeform out of a robot. Maria can't remember what exactly happened, but she does know that someone got hurt and the machine was ruined. ]

He couldn't make them anymore. His robots got dangerous when he tried to make them. It was awful!

Well... everything! Doesn't everything close for the night after a while? The parks, the theaters, the food places... all of it. They do, don't they?

[ She looks thoughtful for a moment, and soon enough, her excitement slowly dissipates into something a little more uncomfortable. It isn't with Shadow, oh, no. However... ]

I think so. It has been a while since I've eaten.

[ As if on cue, her stomach gives an audible gurgle. Yep. HUNGRY. ]

[ WAY TO GO, BROBOT. ]

Are there? Are those rules... [ She hums. How to describe it? She's really not that good with words. ] Are they built into robots? Into their heads? Um...

[ She pauses and gives a sheepish grin. ] Do you know what I mean?

[ She leans over then, looking for a bushy rabbit tail or whiskers or cute ears. She's not finding anything of the sort! ] Rabbit is your name? You don't look like a bunny! [ She pulls back, her smile now fully genuine and without any hint of embarrassment. ]
