Well...you tried. I thought we had it this time too, but I guess we should have counted more thoroughly. I mean, I'm not really upset over it. Things don't exactly last forever and sooner or later I have to go back. [He just wished he had a little more time]
It was good to see everyone again for the time I had there at least, and meeting my future successor was quite the experience! I'm really going to miss them all.

...Well, he's still me in a sense, by like a hundred years or something. And a lot happened. I can't really agree with his suggestion, but I also can't...disagree with it. [Technically going through the betrayal he can understand why he would think ending Zuko was the best plan of action....even if Roku right now doesn't like the idea he even suggested it at all]
Not saying my future suggestion was a good idea or anything now, I just--I think things might be better once he sees the future you create. [He just stops there before he accidentally makes it worse]
