Most of us wonder. Some have come to their senses, stepped aside and saw how ridiculous a lot of us are.

Tried to live the "full mortal experience". It wasn't as fun as others make it out to be.

As.. fond as I am of rules, the others hate me enough. I'd rather not have a load of them after my ass just because of stepping one toe out of line.

I had thought that most of the disdain was on the mortals and.. Fallen. It appears I was mistaken.

Sometimes I wonder why humanity worships us as they do.

The Fallen have earned that disdain, at least. If you could call what they do disdain.

Because they're all simple-minded fools that want to believe something good is out there for their own peace of mind, maybe?

I think it goes beyond that sometimes. They seem to forget that the Fallen were - or rather, still are - our brothers and sisters.

I used to think it was because we were supposed to be more than this. Now I'm not so sure we can be.

Oh, I think they remember all too well that the Fallen are brothers and sisters. That's why they don't kill usthem when they find them.

From what I've experienced? We've always been like this. We just hid it well enough so that it wasn't noticed.

I wouldn't allow them to anyway. Everyone has a set time, and they won't be deciding when their time ends.

Sometimes death is a preferable option. Heaven's persuasion is really something to be marvelled at.

It's death or Falling, and I think we all know which they'd all prefer.

Of course I have. They've tried to chuck me in them thousands of times.

Then you'll know what I mean when I say sometimes death seems the better option.
