I understand that this place is used mostly to try and disuade our 'muns' from sending us to different locations. But the place you mean to send me seems far more harmless than most and I will have friends and allies there.

I believe I look forward to the adventure.

I am sure I will not think so fondly of it once I am there. But for now, I look forward to the change.

Mm, a change from life in the Court should be a welcome one, indeed. Though I tended to opt more towards riding than interdimensional imprisonment.

I must admit, I am trying to keep an optimistic outlook. I would prefer a good hunt, myself. Tell me about this place?

I can tell you that finding a good hunt may prove difficult.

[ the animals are all gray and boring. also, something about not killing Bambi's mom? he dgi. ]

But I will answer anything you would ask of me to the best of my ability, Princess.

Really? Are there no forests? Will I be able to ride?

[look, Bambi's mom/Gwen was asking for it.]

The woods in Utgard are open to Travelers, but the safety of their territory is not assured. It is hardly assured within the gates of our own city.

[ but that's an entirely different matter altogether ]

As far as riding, we've one mare in our possession. Sir Storm is a faithful steed, he would be glad to give the Lady a tour, if it please you.

[burping]

And you do not have your knights with you?

[you get a warm smile despite being a lady dumping prat] You know how I feel about tours. Sir Storm? That is a very interesting name. [merlin totally named him, didn't he?]

I have two at my side - Sir Lancelot and Sir Gwaine. Both newer to knighthood, but good men.

[ he gives a light chuckle. ]

He belongs to my First Knight, Sir Leon - he was in Asgard for a time and left Storm in my care upon his departure.

[burping]

I believe I have met Sirs Gwaine and Leon but I am unfamiliar with Sir Lancelot.

[dragonspeak]

Princess. [He regards her with a wary sort of amusement.]

I'd hate to see what you think is dangerous if this is "harmless".

[burping]

Merlin, my lady mun said you were here. How are you?


The other worlds that my lady mun has people in are quite dangerous. This place seems harmless compared to those. Or has she been keeping things from me.

[dragonspeak]

[Merlin shuffles his feet a bit, coughing a bit awkwardly.] There's been some things your mun might not have heard yet. It's not as safe as you might think--there's a war coming, and we've been preparing for it.

But... [Merlin continues a second later, voice soft.] It's not so bad a place normally.

[burping]

A war? Who between?

Asgard--that's the city most of us are in--and some other cities in the area.

...it's complicated.

[burping]

Are there not knights to prevent such a war? A king to stop bickering between the cities?
