First off, I'm not from your world. I'm from a similar one but different. My name is Dick Grayson, I go by the handle 'Nightwing.' I was part of a circus act with my parents until a show at Gotham. The mob wanted protection money, the circus refused, and my parents were gunned down during a performance.

You took me in, trained me, taught me to be a better man than to be consumed with hatred and desire for revenge. ...And you adopted me... dad.
