once again, older!aang rears when mun is caught up on eps.
I'm not saying the Tahno boy can't get his waterbending back, but Korra would need to energybend it back into him and that could go wrong in a whole host of ways unless she finds her focus in all aspects of her training, the metalbenders and Amon's other victims would need treatment as well. I feel bad for little Lin, too. I always thought she and Tenzin might ... hm, never mind. Pema's really nice and it's not the sort of situation you can find fault in, love is love. It goes wherever it wants.
I bet Katara could help that young probender find the part of himself that's missing, though. He looked so empty.

[It was certainly a pleasant surprise.]

... Annnnd I have no idea who you are so I can't say anything similar, sorry. Hi.

[He'd extend his hand for Aang to shake it.]
I guess you could call me one of the Avatars of my world. There are some strange similarities between our abilities.

You are? Wow, that's amazing to hear. How so?

[ He's making his own x3 face as well.]
Anyway, I think considering the three adorable grandkids you got, your boy did a good job picking his wife. There's somebody for everybody anyway.

I don't keep up with pro-bending, but what's happening there now?

There's a really bad guy calling himself Amon who won't stop taking away peoples' bending, Katara. He's destroying people from the inside-out.

... So that's what's going on in Republic City. Tenzin didn't tell me specifics, but that's... terrible news.

Honestly, it's more than Korra should have to deal with. It's more than any of my past lives have contended with, when you look at it a certain way.

You mean... it's not permanent?

[ Man, he's thinking as hard as he can now. Wants to help! ]
Well, the thing is, Amon's either chi-blocking your flow or using a form of bending that controls your energy. It's part of you, if it's the latter. I've taken away someones bending before and it was ... difficult, but not impossible. Amon doesn't seem to be experiencing what I did because he's an idiot imitating the Avatar so my guess is?
Yeah, I think you can get it back.

I'm not little and I can handle my own problems, Aang.

Of course not, you're an intelligent woman in the prime of her life! But you'll always be little to me, Lin, you won't break me of that habit.
no subject
As long as you don't start getting the current Avatar influenced to call me Little Lin.
[She'll tolerate it from you, she will not tolerate it from a 17 year old girl. She relaxes a bit now though, the frown disappearing]
You should perhaps be more concerned for your son. If Amon takes away his bending that's one less air bender out there and the only one out there who has Mastered it and can teach your current incarnation.
