The story is supposedly more important to the writer than character consistency." She makes a face. "It's a terrible story that sacrifices character consistency to plot."

I'd talked to Garth all of once when I tackled him the first time, you and Roy had a friendship and team dynamics hanging on the outcome. And I'm not even going to get into role models and the outside influences on your relationship, oi."

She laughs again and waggles a finger at Donna. "Yes, yes it is something you can do something about, and I highly encourage you to do so at the first opportunity." She sobers a little. "And as for the other thing, sometimes the only thing you can do is break it and shake it up and hope that everyone else takes a good look at it before they fix it."

"Lilly's tucked up with her tea and a blanket, last I saw. She didn't seem to be into the booze portion of this angry ladies' night.
