Why should I get excited about being stuck in a room watching romance movies with this Karkat guy? Sounds more like torture to me. Why can't I be forced into reading it instead?

-- At least that way, I can manipulate the words and change the story into something different entirely.

Hey, a good romantic movie with the right person can be a pretty good time. But I'm guessing you're not interested in this Karkat guy?

I doubt as much. They're pretty unrealistic, if you ask me. And no, not at all. Why would I want to hang around someone that can't say one sentence without shouting profanity all over the place?

The phrase "stuck in a room watching romance movies with a guy" sticks out like a sore thumb, but I'm guessing it's nothing like that, right?

I rather chew my own arm off than watch some love movie.

Outside of documentaries, not many movies are shooting for 'realism'. Isn't that kind of the point of a movie?

... you've got me on the profanity part though, that doesn't exactly scream 'good time'.

Tell me about it. I spoke with the guy once and I had to hang up on him. -- And now, my mun thinks it'll be funny to be locked up in a room with him.

It's boring. And they all end the exact same way. It's way too predictable.

Well... no, that's true. You could seriously just look at the cover of the DVD and be able to tell how it ends.

Your mun sounds pretty terrible at this matchmaker thing. It could be worse though - I'm sure you can stick out one day with some bad movies, right?

That's just it. This romance movie is a bad movie.

You know, if it's a romantic comedy, at least you could focus on the potential laughter. Though a lot of them aren't particularly funny to me.
