I'm not sure about this, mundane.
If they find out I'm missing again - I don't think telling them that I was in a different world is going to count for a good excuse and the situation is problematic as it is.
I'm not sure I want to take that chance even if...going away for a while does sound tempting.
Still. I think the wise move would be to wait a bit until everything clears out and then you can have your way without making me look like the bad guy here.
