On his mun's attempt to get more Arrow people to Carvaka (xposted to d_p)
While I didn't have a whole lot holding me to Starling City beyond Thea, I would have liked something better than the end of all the worlds.
Where sex is required to survive.
That was a surprise. The second came in the form of Jack Harkness, a younger version of myself or so I thought. Wonderful, wasn't it, that he and Ianto insisted I stay with them? All of them from one of the Doctors to dear Clara have been so accepting of me, except for that one old version of the Doctor. Ten is much more agreeable, not to mention useful. The same could be said of quite a few others. I was carrying my bow and dressed in my League outfit while defending the city, wasn't I? Well, I was as far as any of the people here know.
My point is that even if one of the others arrived, what could they do? Who would believe them? And what would it really matter in a place like this? So, bring them on. Let's see what happens.

By the way, your story about being the vigilante defending Starling City tested out as the one people liked the best without me needing to wear green. I suppose I should thank you.

[Oliver snorts amused.]
Identity stealing that seems like a new low or a new high for you. Guess this game doesn't need me then does it?

He does realize we could kick his ass, right?
no subject
I never said I was Oliver Queen. I said I was Al Sa-Her which is true.
[From a certain point of view.]
That depends, Oliver. I could, yes. Or you could stand against me. Which you choose to be is up to you.

Everything I've done has been for a reason. I don't have a reason to do anything like that here.
no subject
What's important is that I called it; he is absolutely not some vigilante hero. You owe me a massage.
no subject
I wouldn't underestimate some of the people around here, Al Sa-Her.
no subject
[She's just not even going to touch the rest of this because she can't even.]
no subject
Alright, a massage it is, to be collected at your leisure.
no subject
[He gives her his best smile.]
I had hoped we might be.
no subject
[Oliver smiles slightly.]
It would be fun to see you out of your element a little bit. And I have been bored....the Heir to the Demon shouldn't be bored.
no subject
Why would I, Jack?
I can't believe you and Ianto bet on this. You should have held out for a larger prize.
no subject
Lovely. I'm going to wait until we've had a particularly eventful day.
no subject
[Yes. It's Malcolm's fault he has to give Ianto a massage. Such a hardship. Smirk.]
You should pay me back.
no subject
[She's smiling, at least, so that's a sign she's not actually mad.]
If you did, you'd know that mentioning the Doctor's going to have me questioning you on ways you think one in particular can be useful to you.
(While I'm up to the latest ep, Malcolm is post 'The Offer')
I'm never out of my element. I adapt if nothing else.
So you took Ra's up on his offer.
[A statement more than a question even if this is new information for him.]
no subject
I look forward to it.

[An arched brow meets that suggestion, and Malcolm is willing to play along.]
Wouldn't that make you a double winner in this if I did?

[He likes that smile or that's what he's trying to project. While he's had little time to do it, he does enjoy teasing her some.]
I find the Doctor with the long ties and pinstripe suit ... interesting. He mentions things and places I'll never go.
Better?
no subject
[The most innocent look here. Really.]

[Uh-huh. He knows what he looks like when he's coveting something, thank you very much, Captain Harkness.]
no subject
Thanks for the heads up!
He left me little choice as he promised and so yes I gave him what he wanted.

[The amusing downside of sharing a face with someone. Not that he's too concerned with it, he's enjoying teasing Malcolm.]
no subject
[He's not going to quibble over words, where would the fun in that be.]
no subject
Ra's went after Thea, didn't he?
Just this face
no subject
Two can play that game
no subject
[He knows he's being teased, and he's willing to play back. His fear is more someone mistaking Jack for him wearing that and kill him.]
no subject
[He really does.]
I'd offer you a copy of Jack's greatcoat in return, but I'm sure you'd just use it to troll the Doctors.
no subject
[That knowing little grin comes back.]
You lost all on your own, Jack. Not sure that makes me in your debt.
no subject
no subject
I wouldn't want one. That's... him.
If that makes sense.
no subject
But it's also just a coat, and your outfit is just an outfit, despite all their respective connotations. It's alright, on occasion, to take them a little less than seriously for the sake of keeping up morale.
It's the end of the bloody world, after all.
no subject
I can't give up something that defined me when it's all I've got.

[Another nod this one a little tighter.]
Yes...he killed her. Broke right into the apartment like he owned it.
no subject
The Pit. That's how he reeled you in.
[There's no surprise in Malcolm's voice, only a flat monotone. He had been expecting something like that. Maybe something worse.]
So you'll soon be in charge of the League...
