You knew he was going to show up? At least- a speculation I guess.

But to know he's really working with them on behalf of the White Fang... How far has he fallen?

I hope Ren gets to wherever he needed to go, too. Jaune seemed supportive.

Velvet's Team too!...Wow. Here we're hoping to become so much stronger and to see them in action? Guess we have to train a little harder. There's such a jump of abilities between them and us.

At least Torchwick's in captivity. One less creep on the street.

I guess now we just wait till the next Volume. But...will our reunion be deadly? I hope not... If I could just talk to him maybe- we can prevent things from happening.

Don't be too hard on yourself, Blake. You and your team performed admirably. Do not forget that you are still in your first year. Team CFVY has simply had more time to train.

Still, we did a great job in stopping the Grimm, and making sure that Torchwick was arrested! (Despite a lot of people being hurt.) We deserve some time off, at least until the tournament.

[Gives a nod at that at her eager leader.] Let's hope he's willing to talk then.

I think we're ready to all fall asleep until the tournament.

That'll give us...a really long time to sleep, right? (She's not really counting, but she's also eager to get to her bed.

Pretty much. But I think we deserved it if anything.

[Blinks only to glance away.] I guess, in a way. He was my partner and mentor. I guess I just- became afraid of becoming what I tried to fight against of stereotyping.

Blake will feel a hand press gently against her arm.) ...I'm sorry things turned out that way.

[Raising a hand she pats her friend's hand.] It's okay.

I honestly- just wanted to protect him from the horrors of discrimination. But not with blood of innocent people.

(She nods, lightly squeezing her hand with her own. Part of Ruby wants to believe he'll talk but another part knows differently.)

...I hope he understood what you wanted, but I'm not sure that he did.

He's stubborn. Even that's an understatement of it...

He's- damaged. We all are in our own way. I know that sometimes damaged people- we don't always do the best things.

(Cue a small yawn from a semi-exhausted leader.) After we get back and sleep until the tournament. Do you think we'll get to miss a few classes because of this?

I'm glad Professor Ooblek didn't get hurt either. And here we thought he wasn't that exciting.

It was because of the Grimm because that was his plan that he threw in to action following, what I can only assume, are your orders.

I don't think of you as a child anymore, though I do think you're not really prepared for what is coming.

[Squints and takes out her book, turning to some of the pages that had sketches of the back of his head, his symbol and various roses that she had done.

Tosses it to him in annoyance.] The only thing I was running from was you.

You couldn't see what you've become yet I never once stopped thinking about you.

[Catching it Adam takes a look and gives it a smug grin. So she had thought about it after she ran off, it almost made it a shame she didn't realize how foolish she was being now.]

I know what I've become, it is what I had to become. If it was too much for you then I'm glad that you were able to find someplace you could bear with your thoughts.

[Flips through a bit more of the book glancing over the notes and other sketches.]

Though I haven't been the only one you've been thinking about.

[With such a smug grin she simply rolls her eyes. Was this really the person she had spent endless nights worrying over? Lost sleep, became weaker all because of her emotions towards this stupid mentor that taunts her.] It's what you chose to become.

[Stepping forward, she grabs it back from him while slamming it closed.] And what is that suppose to mean exactly?

[Hey you gave it to him, don't get mad if he took the opportunity to flip through it.]

Yelling wouldn't do any good either. [As for grudges there were a lot of those that he held onto.]

I just want you to realize it won't be as easy as it was with that idiot. The world has to change and those are strong enough to change it have to do so. Sometimes that means eliminating obstacles. I won't save you if you're in the way.

[With a small sigh, she rolls her eyes.] I realized that a long time ago. The world might have to change but not the way you're wanting it to.

I won't change the way you want it to either. So we'll just have to see which one wakes more people up to what's wrong with it.

[Shakes her head with her arms folding across her chest.] Really? Because it sure sounds like you're ready to plunge that blade in. And I honestly doubt you would hesitate if given the option.

[He'll just give her a small scowl turning his back a little.]

Looks like you refuse to realize nothing has changed.

What do you think I'm doing now? Trying to make this place better for both our races so we can finally have peace! Not cause the world to fall in to complete chaos and utter destruction in some sense of anarchy!

[Unfolding her arms, she side steps so she's at least still in front of him, not really backing down.]

And you need to give me more to go on than just that.

It's not changing anything. Can you really say that those like us are really treated fairly there?

Supporting isn't the way that I would put it. He's being used.

It's not just for me, it's for all of us. The humans who have continued this cycle and taken advantage of our suffering.

Perhaps I was.
