I do not mind your desire to put me in that place, mundane, however, if merely writing my application brings you stress, I must advise against it as a doctor. At least working in longer periods like you are... I'd suggest taking breaks in between rather than push yourself.

It is quite some time until applications open again after all, and even if you don't apply this coming round, there are still many rounds to come.


I'd rather see that you don't torment yourself with my canon review. I understand that you do enjoy me as a character- why else would I be here?- but I also know that the work I am from is... Problematic.

[Well..this was an interesting person. He wasn't a Human, and nor was he an Angel. At least it seemed that he was concerned about his Mundane, but..]

I hope your Mundane takes your advice and gives herself breaks. It wouldn't be good if she got too stressed out or became sick because she ignored you or thought that she could press on. However, what are you?

[The question makes him raise an eyebrow, though he doesn't seem like he feels insulted.] Another person with no tact I see. I do seem to attract those more than the average man does.

Both our Mundanes seem to be that way. It's good that they don't want to give up, but I hope yours rests a little bit before it becomes worse. She can't continue if her head hurts. I..am trying to learn how to get better at using tact. However, while it is good that you're a doctor, it still doesn't tell me what you are. It seems you're not a Human or an Angel..are you a Demon?

[Really, that was all he wanted to know. If he wasn't, he would be a lot calmer around him. Probably.]

Especially since we cannot heal them when they're not feeling well. And if you were, I would try to make sure that you didn't steal souls that would normally ascend without pain or suffering.

All we can do is try and direct them to making healthy choices, unfortunately.

[He sighs ever so slightly.]

And please- I'm a doctor first and foremost. I've no interest in inflicting pain and suffering, nor do I have an interest in souls. [At least not in that way.] My interest is healing the sick and the injured, not causing unnecessary torment.

Of course. They have to use their free will to make the right choices.

[And, if they didn't, they could deal with a headache or lack of sleep. But, at Mephisto's response, Raphael smiled. Sure, he would still try to keep an eye on this person, since he could be lying, but..it he was telling the truth, there wouldn't be any reason to be wary of him, and for the moment, there wasn't any reason to disbelief him.]

However, they can also see those wrong choices and choose to make the wrong ones. We simply have to hope that they will.
