On the recent Fate/ series announcements

The upcoming film is also my time to shine, as it were. But the Matou girl's situation is also intriguing, I will admit.

Perhaps I shall indulge. However, King of Heroes, I can't say you'll be able to do the same. Your role is rather... diminished as time goes on-- who knows if you will even appear in the film version.

Saber. It has been announced that the new television anime series is to be based on the "Unlimited Blade Works" route of the original visual novel, while a "Heaven's Feel" film is also in the making. Not that I personally know what either of those terms refer to myself, but my mundane has told me enough for me to be able to find some amusement from it.

I was overjoyed to hear that our canon will be continuing, only to learn that it was itself a prequel to something that had come before. I'll confess, I'm a little confused by that. What exactly does one call a sequel to a prequel?

Yes, I have been informed about the chain of events of that particular "route." Whether or not my role is insolently diminished, I say now that I will undoubtedly appear.

You were not the first Lancer I was expecting to see. Still, I understand your personal apprehension on the matter. But, my mundane among many others are happy to see a continuation of a narrative they had enjoyed before. As for myself, I play enough of a role in this Grail War that I'm curious to see how it goes.

I will locate their studio and grace those unworthy mongrels with my presence. There is no better way to influence the re-imagining of those events.

"Chivalrous" is not the first adjective I would use to describe the Servants this time 'round, Lancer. Aside from the King of Knights herself, none of the Servants summoned seem to care about honor.
