It's one thing to know them because you either read or studied them. It's an entirely different thing to just know, even though there's no logical explanation as to why you should.

One place I'm at that my mun wants to suggest is an alternate version of New York where you arrive in the Hudson River and discover that you have some type of magical power.

Mun checked and she says no. The game is called alteredstates.

Hmm. Not the one my mun was thinking of then.

I don't believe she's heard of that one, but I know that she's going to look at it.

Yeah. My mun used to play you there.

I'm lucky in that both my dad and his fiancee are there with me.

In all the places I've ever been, no one from my team was there with me.

My mun didn't have much luck with that either.

At least there's always places like this.

Yeah, she had her best conversations with other members of your team on here.

But, you can make other friends in games too.

I know.

I've made some of the greatest friends on these games.

[To say he misses them would be a bit of an understatement.]

I've mostly met strange people who have some sort of super power or magic.

Although now I have a super power too so I guess I'm strange as well.

One of the places I was in, a city called Anatole, my boss was a Shinigami, a Soul Reaper. It was certainly an interesting experience.

What does a Soul Reaper do? Is that self-explanatory?

[threedoctorates]

Sort of.

From what I gathered, their main job was to guide the spirits of those who died over to their version of the afterlife, called "Soul Society." They also fought things called "hollows" who tried to feast on those souls.

[raisingdad]

Interesting.

These games might be torturous, but you do meet interesting people.

[threedoctorates]

You most certainly do.

It leads to an interesting experience.

I'm glad my mun introduced me to you. You should be happy too, she could have thrown my father at you instead.

And then I never would have gotten a word in edgewise.

[Which would have been amusing, since it's usually him that did that to other people.]

He's actually not that chatty unless you get on a topic he likes.

Well, to be fair, he probably would have asked you endless questions about your job.

I don't think that the FBI would let him ride along on our cases, though.
