I've seen some bloody nightmarish worlds out there. I kind of like to think that there's got to be the opposite where everything just works out.

I don't know about eliminating the nightmares, but there are ways to cope. That, at least, is what my alternate self seems to be on the path for; coping with an extraordinarily bad set of circumstances.

Your situation is what you make of it. No universe is without it's evils. You may trade the blood for what you think you may prefer only to have something far worse as a consequence in return.

I lost almost everything that mattered just by going to school and being born a Bloodstone and I still know of worlds that are less fair and less kind.
