You know, I'm not complaining or anything, but you really could have thought this one through a little better. You have less of a clue what the bloody hell is going on than I do. I know every mun needs to start somewhere but this is your first game and you're lost and I'm lost...
I suppose we can figure it out together but, honestly, at this point I'm running low on brilliance. I tried so hard with that bloody dimension canonn and it just got me stuck in some place that doesn't make sense.
You're not going to help me much.
And without the cannon...
He was right, wasn't he? I can't.
Okay. Wow. I sound like a right sod from Mum's favourite programs. Sorry for moping. It's gonna be okay, yeah? We'll figure it out. You and me. It's always better with two, I always say. And... Well. It is an adventure. New place. New things to see. We'll figure this out.
There better be a place that sells chips.

But really, thanks for the suggestion. Might try that out. Cheers.

[You'll have to forgive him. He's rather interested in hearing what she's up to.]

[It's quite alright. SHE certainly doesn't mind, and she runs the show ;)]

[After traveling through time and space with him, he can't quite imagine her being content with watching the telly and eating beans on toast. But the whole saving the universe thing? That is something he can imagine.]
I'm sure it's a great party. Just don't get into too much trouble, all right?
[Translation: get into trouble, but be careful, and make sure to have backup.]

... Okay, the telly is just for Mum. It's either that or shopping and I just... I'd rather silently play my own version of Cluedo with the characters.
Don't you dare laugh.
[She wants him to laugh, though - that is possibly when she likes him best. Ear-splitting grin and all. She's a little chuffed that she's done what he taught her. With a bit of Rose Tyler-esque thrown in, of course.]
Trouble's just the bits in between! And it's what makes the party worth it. Nothing looks quite as good as it does when viewed at a run.

I suppose you wouldn't much like shopping, although I wouldn't have thought you'd like... What was it you said? Oh, right. Board games.
But you know, I should remember that, because it's true. Nothing does look quite as good unless it's seen while running. I like that very much.

It's kind of... Okay. I look at the people on screen and all of them are dying but not dying and disappearing and each other's long-lost somethings and each episode I try to find the person most likely to be alien. And what type they'd be. I don't let myself use the Torchwood data base for identification help, so no cheating or nothing. So now you know.

Gosh...
Okay, you know how... There will be people who to you - in your personal little universe that does center around you - are just sort of there. You smile at them and whatever but don't know much about them. Then there are People. To others they could just be the bloke down the road or whatever but to you they're... an entire constellation. A whole galaxy in your personal universe. Peoplepeople.

And I think he might be? I mean, I've never met a bad Greg.

Absolutely the height of fun, perhaps, but crazy? [He scratches his chin before nodding a few times.]
No, you're right, it is crazy, and I don't think I'd have it any other way. [But then he's back to smiling at her.]
Yes, now I know. So tell me, what's your success rate like? I'm betting on one hundred percent, if I know you at all.

The very, very height of fun, Doctor. But absolutely balmy. But... You're right. Any other way would just be... Wrong.
I'm very proud to say that if any characters from seven of Britain's top soap operas were aliens intent on invading Earth I'd be able to detect their type and the best way to stop them in under twenty minutes. There are only one or two I... mis-diagnosed.
[Her grin turns smaller] My success rate at actually saving the world, though, is... Well...

You never know, he may even find the name charming.
